Corazon x [F] Reader - 👻The Wandering Ghost - Part 1

This is a book, I don't know when I'll finish it. I do want to finish it. I started the story 2nd, March 2020. I don't like leaving stories unfinished. I'll put the pieces I have done here. I hope I can finish it. At the moment there are nine parts.

Devil Fruit: Hide-Hide Fruit. Similar to that of Suke Suke no Mi and Horo Horo no Mi. Can go invisible, and make anyone and anything they touch as well. But not hidden from Observation Haki. With training and concentration can completely hide their existence and anyone or anything they think of. With enough work can float, between dimensions.

A Dying Man 🖤

The town pretty quiet today, I wonder why? Normally people are out, I can sneak some food from the stalls.

BANG! BANG!

Hear multiple gunshots, "what the fuck?" I race towards the shots, "I hope no one's dead."

End up near the docks. See a tall blonde-haired man with a pink feather coat. I follow his eyes and they land on another fairly tall blonde-haired man with a black feather coat. Oh, gawd he's bleeding!! Look back to the other man, and pulls out a piece of paper. He watches as it starts to burn, it must be the other's Vivre Card. He lets go as it flies away, and walks off.

I wait for him to disappear, and quickly make my way to the dying man. I get down where he was and he's gone? Where the hell did he go?

"Where's that card?" The snow starts to fall heavier. "I have to find it!" I see little bits of smoke. "There you are! Now, where did he go?" I find blood and follow the trail.

How can this man still be alive? Look down Vivre Card slowly burning. "Fuck I have to find him before he dies."

I turn into an alley, I hear a lighter clicking. My eyes land on the man, as he tries to light a smoke. Walk up and take the lighter off of him. He looks up in my direction, stunned that his lighter disappeared into thin air.

"Smoking bad for your health, you know?" With that, the smoke falls out of his mouth. "Do you want to live?" See there's just a little bit left of the card. I don't have much time...

A purple bubble surrounds us. "I'm fine with dying, but not just yet." He smiles, how can he smile while his dying?

"Why don't you live on? I can help you."

"Hahaha, I really did lose a lot of blood."

"This is no laughing matter!" I quickly cover my mouth, dropping the lighter and card.

He looks down and back up in my direction. The smile is gone, he holds his gun out. "Who are you? And what do you want?"

The words stuck in my throat, I couldn't make a sound. He moves the gun forward and pushes it into me. Next thing I knew I'm in the snow.

- Second -

As the coldness from the snow hits you, you appear in front of Corazon's eyes. There you lay underneath him, frightened and shivering. Stared into your (E/C) eyes. Looking for any hostility anything that would say you were an enemy. Nothing, all he saw was a frightened girl, maybe 18 or 19. He sat back up, causing himself pain. Held out his hand to help you, you gently took it and stood back up.

"Sorry..."

"It's fine, were you worried I was working for that man?" He looked away, you picked up the lighter and Card handed them back to him. He gently took them out of your hands.

"We should get you to a hospital quick. You don't have much time." You stare at the Card in his hands. He hands it back to you.

"Can you do me a favour?" He asks his breathing becoming ragged.

"Depends. If it helps you die, then no. But if you want to live then yes." Again shock takes over his face but quickly fades and smiles.

"I guess I'm out of luck then." He goes to light up again, you take it back off him.

"How can you smile? You're bleeding to death, and you're smiling!"

"When I die you'll remember me smiling." He smiles up at you.

"No, I won't! I'll remember you as the man I couldn't save! Cause he was too stubborn and wanted to die!"

Tears started to fall, you had no idea why you were crying. You didn't know who he was. He could be some criminal, that deserves to die. But your heart... Your heart was telling you to save this man, no matter what. Corazon stared at you, amazed that someone who knew nothing about him. Wanted him to live. He pulled himself onto a crate, so he was now eye level with you.

He reached out to you, wipes a falling tear away. "Why do you want me to live?"

You look into his reddish-brown eyes. "Because... My heart telling me to save you... No matter what..." You say through the tears. As you place your hand over your heart.

Corazon was taken back by what you said. He knew there was no way he could survive. He had been shot multiple times, he was amazed he had held on this long. He started to feel weak. He started coughing, as he pulled his hand away. There were splats of blood.

"No, hospital but if you save me. I'll be in your debt."

"You're crazy if you think I can! You need a doctor!"

"I guess I'm going to die." He still held his smile.

You nervously think, about what to do. You didn't know anything about treating someone. Nor how to remove bullets. But you had to do something. "Alright! Just let me find a cart or something. You're not going to be able to walk far. I'll be right back."

You disappear and head out of the alley. Tried to find a cart to move him back to where you were staying.

"Maybe if I'm quick, I can die before she comes back. At least Law is safe now." He closes his eyes, everything faded to black.

"Hey! Hey, wake up! You can't die on me!" Was the last thing he heard.
