(A/n: I know most of this takes place in season 4 but OH WELL I'm moving it to this season)
"And then we made out, again." Maddie admitted and Luke felt his eyes widen and his mouth open slightly, he felt a bit like someone had punched him in the gut. The two had just left the Dunphy house and were on their way to the bus stop. "You made out with this girl multiple times?" He asked shocked and she nodded. "Did you like it?" He questioned and Maddie nodded again, this time slower. "I mean, I know I'm attracted to guys, but what if I'm attracted to girls too?"
"Well, I guess it would just mean you're attracted to both." The boy shrugged and the girl sighed. "Anyways, at least the boner face thing has calmed down know." She smiled at the boy who nodded. "Hey, is that your parents and Alex?" She questioned and Luke nodded. "Yeah, I think so."
The two sped up slightly and saw what the Dunphy's and their neighbours, Mr and Mrs Tanner, were staring at. Marble with wood. That was the name of the pornographic statue on someone's front lawn just down the street from the Dunphy's. Let's just say it wasn't made of wood, just marble. Phil especially hated it as he was trying to sell the house opposite it but couldn't because of the statue.
"We've got to do something about this. It's obscene." Mrs Tanner said, her hand resting on her hip: "That's what they said about The Catcher in the Rye when it first came out." Alex announced and Claire gave her daughter a funny look. "You're not helping."
"Why don't we just knock on the door and talk to him?" Mr Tanner questioned and Maddie nodded in agreement. "I tried." Phil sighed angrily. "Yeah, the guys a jerk." Claire looked towards her husband, her curled hair swaying in the breeze. "I told him how much it bothered us, it only seemed to please him."
"I'm not gonna lie, it makes me feel bad about my body." Luke admitted as Claire rubbed his shoulder. "I don't feel comfortable letting my kids play out here." Mrs Tanner informed the group as more neighbours joined the group. "Our kids." Mr Tanner interjected and Mrs Tanner shut her eyes in annoyance. "Paul, please."
"Art is subjective. Some people would love this." Alex informed the group as the Mr and Mrs LaFontaine came walking over to them. "Here they come." Claire joked and Maddie let out a giggle. "Hey watcha guys talking bout?" Ronnie questioned as they reached the group of people. "The statue." Phil pointed towards it as Ronnie and Amber both frowned.
"Ohh God, we hate that thing." Amber told the group as she rested her arm on her husbands shoulder. "You do?" Claire and Maddie both asked simultaneously. "Yeah, I didn't make my money to move into a neighbourhood where they put something like that on the street." He told the group as if the answer were obvious.
"Porn belongs on a big screen in the bedroom, or your phone in the bathroom." He continued before Phil shoved his children, and Maddie, away from the adults. "Kids, go play."

"Hey, you coming to Teddy's fundraiser for the hospital at the roller rink?" Alex questioned and Maddie frowned. "Teddy? Wasn't he the guy Mitchell dated before Cam?" Maddie asked and Alex nodded. "He invited the entire family. Is Callie in town? I'm sure he wouldn't mind her coming as well, since it's a fundraiser."
"I'm sure she'd love to go, but she is off somewhere doing something." Maddie shrugged, she wasn't ever sure where her sister was anymore. "Okay, cool." Alex smiled as Luke walked into the living room. "Alex do you think that-Maddie? When did you get here?"
"I've been here since like 9am." Maddie looked at the curly haired boy who looked down at his watch before looking back up at Maddie. "It's 5:30?!"
