Maddie squinted as she woke up from her sleep, her head was pounding. She looked around and almost screamed when she saw that she was asleep next to "Luke?!" She squealed and the curly haired boy slowly opened his eyes. He let out a groan as he adjusted his position and he opened his eyes which immediately widened when they locked with Maddie's. "Maddie?"

Maddie and Luke both took a minute in silence as they remembered the events that had passed last night. "Oh god." Maddie held her hands one her head and Luke shut his eyes tightly and frowned. "I'm grounded for 2 weeks." Luke complained out loud and Maddie groaned. "I made out with Riley and Gil Thorpe Jr."

"You're not more worried about the fact you were drunk and high?" Luke turned to the girl who shrugged. "Eh. I get drunk and high quite a lot. Now I'm super hungover and I want to die."

"You know, you're funny when you're drunk and high." Luke rested on his side to face the girl, who did the same as him. "Oh god, what did I say?" Maddie looked at the boy who chuckled. "Why are you chuckling like that? It's creeping me out."

"You seriously don't remember?" The curly haired boy rose his eyebrows and Maddie rolled her eyes. "Oh my god, just tell me already." "Well, you kept calling me 'Luuuuuuuuuuke Dunphly' and you said my hair looked cute like little 'swirly wirlys'." Luke began and Maddie covered her face with her hands. "Oh god." She mumbled as Luke continued.

"You forgot how to count, you said you wanted to try and fly like a fairy. You also said i had nice lips and a cute nose. Oh and you kept running away from me to make out with people." Luke informed the girl who shook her head aggressively. "You also said I was strong like Superma-" Luke continued before Maddie cut him off. "Oh god, just stop. I've recently discovered I act a bit weird when I'm drunk, or high."

"Oh, and one more thing, you said you love me." The Dunphy boy wiggled his eyebrows playfully and Maddie scoffed. "Like I said, I say weird things cause I clearly don't love you Dunphy."
Luke nodded slowly, not sound all that convinced. "Uh huh sure." "I don't!"

That was a few weeks ago when Maddie and Luke found themselves waking up next to each other. This hadn't happened in awhile as, after all, Maddie had been hanging around with a different crowd for the last couple of months. But ever since that day, Maddie and Luke found themselves drifting closer together again, wether they liked it or not.

"So, I heard you got arrested. Tell me about that."  Maddie asked the boy who chuckled lightly. "I heard you lost you're virginity to Mark Zimmerman. Why don't you tell me about that?"

"Ew! No! That's revolting, I lost my virginity to someone else." Maddie told the boy who rose his eyebrows, waiting patiently. "Fine. Gil Thorpe Jr." Maddie bit her lip and Luke grimaced. "Ugh, what is your thing with him. You were making out with him at the party a couple of weeks ago, now it's been confirmed you lost your virginity to him?"

"Mhmm. Now zip it! I wanna hear about you getting arrested, everyone loves a bad boy." Maddie joked and Luke rolled his eyes playfully. "Yeah, yeah. Basically, Sarah Fisher's cat died and she was super upset so I thought she might make out with me. So I took the car out and drove round to her house, got caught two blocks away from her house."

"Wow." Maddie laughed to herself as Luke jokingly hit her shoulder. "Shut up." Luke only did it because everyone else seemed to be having great luck with girls except him. Manny was talking to some girl from his world history class, Luke's dorky friend Reuben had a someone he was hooking up with even Maddie was having better luck with girls than he was, however luke wasn't about to announce his lack of luck with girls to Maddie.

It had been a few more weeks since Maddie, Luke and Manny had all started hanging out more and it was almost like nothing had ever changed. "Hey Marty, listen, it's your hotel, but a walnut closet is a place your guests want to hang their clothes. A particleboard closet, they want to hang themselves." Claire spoke over the phone to her fellow employee as Haley piped up. "All this closet stuff is driving me nuts."
