There has been a really bad sickness bug going around the Pritchett, Tucker and Dunphy family and sadly Maddie has caught it off of Claire. "No kiss for good luck honey, this ends with me." Claire told Phil as Maddie sneezed into a tissue. "Or Maddie...""Whatever, why do you think I swapped beds with Luke last night." Claire sniffled as she walked out of the room and Luke walked in. "You did?" Phil asked worried as Luke grinned. "Appreciate the back rub, not sure I love being called 'Miss Thang" Luke raised his eyebrows as Maddie laughed. "No!" Phil groaned dramatically as Luke sat down next to Maddie.
"You don't wanna sit next to me curly fry, I think I'm getting ill too." Maddie sneezed as Luke frowned at the nickname. "Well short stack I have free will, and will sit wherever I want."
"I am not short!"

"Hey, dad." Luke walked into the office where Phil was sat watching Mitch and Cam's wedding video and mumbling no to himself repeatedly. "Is he okay?" Maddie asked as she stood by Luke's side before sneezing into a tissue again. "I don't know, what's wrong dad?" Luke asked as he and Maddie stood behind Phil, Maddie keeping her distant slightly not wanting to spread her cold.
"No." He mumbled again and Luke and Maddie watched as in the background while Jay was doing his big speech Phil sneezed right onto the cake, then he sneezed into the champagne that was being served to Mitch and last but not least he finally sneezed into a napkin which then Mitch used to dry his eyes from his fathers speech not knowing Phil had just sneezed into it. "You know what this means? I'm patient zero. What I thought were allergies started the cold that is ending everyone."
"That's a bit dramatic-" Maddie began before she began sneezing uncontrollably. "It broke Maddie..." Luke mumbled as Phil shook his head. "No one can ever know about this, no after the pink eye incident."
Phil had pink eye and let everyone use his binoculars while they were on a nature walk because had spotted something rare. He gave everyone pink eye and everyone was very angry at him. "It took me an entire year to earn back the respect and admiration of my family."
"Well..." Luke began trying to think of ideas of what to do as Maddie finally stopped sneezing. "Oh thank god." She breathed as she wiped her nose. "It's six hours until the screening, and I have to edit out all those sneezes without ruining Jay's speech. That means special effects, that means overlapping green screen. What am I saying?! It's impossible!" Phil panicked as Luke slapped him across the face and Maddie gasped. "I'm sorry, Dad."
"No, you're right. It's time to stop whining like a little girl-" Phil began before Maddie interrupted. "A little what?!"
"Uhm like a little kid and man up!" Phil began, before Maddie could interrupt again and tell him that was also sexist he continued. "Let's put on our unitards!" Phil announced as Maddie rolled her eyes and wrapped her dressing gown around her tightly.

"Okay change of plans get into that dress you had at the wedding." Luke burst into Phil and Claire's room, which Maddie was changing in, and Maddie squealed in surprise. "Jesus next time knock and what?"
"You need to put the dress on, don't question it." Luke said and Maddie looked at him in confusion and sneezed before speaking. "Why? I just wanted to get into some leggings and a jumper."
"Just do it." Luke groaned and Maddie gazed at him and raised a brow. "Hello I don't have the dress! What do you think I just carry it round with me?"
"No, but you came for a sleepover here the night after the wedding." Luke began as he grabbed the girls hand and led her to his room. "I did?" She wondered aloud and the boy nodded as they entered his room. "Yeah because your parents wanted some 'alone time'." Luke smirked as Maddie covered her ears and shook her head. "God why'd you have to remind me."
