Khwezikazi.
"Can we turn back I left my stuff at the hotel room."
I tell him as he drives over yet another wave causing me to tumble in the back and I hold onto the seats for dear mercy. He hasn't said anything to me these past fifteen minutes althrough out this crazy drive. The tides are high and ocean is fighting against us, we'll mostly against me because I am getting motion sickness right now ontop of my already drunken state.
I don't even know what's going to happen to those two woman I left at the club and I am more concerned for the blonde lady that passed out next to me.
We get to the bay and he parks the boat and he turns of the engine. He anchors the boat with a few ropes and chains and he gets off and I follow behind him in my tipsy state.
As soon as we make it back to the beach he stands in my way and he folds his arms and he stares at me and i stop in my tracks.
"Get in the water."
He orders."What ?"
"Ngena emazini... now Khwezi i don't want to repeat myself."
[Get in the water.]
I look at the ocean as the waves crash against each other as the wind continues to blow roughly and he wants me to get inside that water ?"I'm not getting inside of that water do you know how cold it is ?"
"You should have thought about that before you left here."
"Sanele what was I supposed to do you didn't want to do anything with me."
"That doesn't mean roam around in skimpy clothing and be irresponsible."
"Don't you dare judge me."
"Get in the water."
He yells and I close my mouth.I look at the water and I look at him again.
A huge gush of wind blows and goose bumps grow all over my body and I shiver.
"Ngiyaxolisa keh."
[I am sorry then.]"As long as it's not sincere I won't accept it."
"Ngiyaku scela bandla."
[I am begging you.]"It's too late to be sincere now, get in the water the tides are rising."
He scolds again.Tears are now streaming down my face. I look at him for sympathy and he only has this look on his face that says that he's not turning back on his word.
He wants me in those waters now.
I walk my tipsy behind into the water and I screach as soon the cold water makes contact with my skin and I turn around and I look at him again.
"Go further."
"I am in the water Sanele."
"Don't be smart with me."
He warns as he points a finger at me.I turn around and i walk further in agony, this water is fucken cold and he only keeps telling me to walk in further and I am already a hot mess.
Tears, snot and heavy shivers.
My skimpy and barely there dress doesn't seem to help with retaining my warmth.
A huge wave hits me and i am sent to the floor while he watches me from the beach arms folded and all. What if this water takes me and he's just standing there ?
I cry even further when I feel myself start to get heavy. Another wave hits me and I cry even further because it's so painfully cold.
I sit in the water untill he feels its time for me to get out and I get out.
