Khwezikazi.

I knock at the door a few times but the room still remains silent. I stare down at Faye who gives me a look that we should turn around but I disagree with her and I continue to knock on Aneles door.

Faye is definitely fed up with me being adamant, I can see it all over her face, she wants us to go because already because she's concluded that Anele won't open the door.

When I go silent again I hear some shuffling before I hear subtle footsteps towards the direction of the door before the door slowly pulls open. Faye bolts into the room and she goes onto her legs and she picks her up.

Traitor.

"Hy pumpkin."
She quietly greets as she runs her hands down her fur and Faye kisses her face and Anele gives her a little smile before she looks at me.

Its been two days since the Incident happened and she's locked herself in our guestroom ever since and i haven't been able to get through to her and this is the first time i am seeing her again.

She looks worse than the last time, it's like this whole thing is physically eating her alive. Her cheeks have lost color and so have her eyes.

She almost looks soulless and it didn't help that we had to find out that this whole thing was a huge misunderstanding.

I was relieved and ready to throw hands at the same time.
Mandla told us that non of what Anele thought was happening was the way it seemed. The house Anele mentioned the other day is the house he bought for her as a vacation present in Spain as their anniversary gift which he was set to reveal at their vow renewal that he has been planning with Kabo along with this assistant.

I didn't believe a word he was saying until Kabo was brought into the mix and confirmed everything.
Her boyfriend who turns out to be the father of the child is distraught because as it is he stands to lose both the woman he loves and his baby.

This is all one big nightmare that I can't seem to snap out off and everyday we pray and hope that she gets better but we also hope that she hit her head so hard that she won't remember any of this.

"Hy..."

"Hy..."

"I just came to check up on you, Sanele said you didn't have anything to eat last night."

"Yeah, I didn't have an appetite."

"I figured, so I brought a smoothie instead, this should help."

She stares at the smoothie in my hand thats stretched foward before she looks at me again.

"You should probably give that to that woman i pushed down the stairs because I was insecure."

"It wasnt your fault Anele,
It was Mandlas responsibility as your husband to make sure that your secure in your marriage. And the way he was acting only made sense to you that he was cheating."

"But he wasn't... that house I saw him make a purchase on is the beach house I asked him to buy me in Spain."

"If he wasn't so secretive-"

"If I trusted my own husband I wouldn't be here,Khwezi... so yes this is my fault and nothing you say is ever going to make feel better or justify what I did."

"Anele I am just trying to be here for you. The kids need you,  you can't keep yourself locked up forever."

She purses her lips and she raises her eyebrows as she puts down Faye.

"They need their mother Anele."

"You don't know the first thing about being a mother and neither do you know that first thing about what my children need. They have a present father and that's enough, I just need time deal with the fact that I just killed somebody and their unborn child."
