Reality... a place filled with hard truths and despair, nothing like the fantasies that come with getaways, the beautiful illusion that comes with its ability to make you lose touch of this thorny thing we call reality. Getaways create this perfect bubble that disables reality to seep through but that's not case for me just yet...

Ever since cape Town I've been living on a cloud. Smelling the fresh dasies at work, smiling at the receptionist and being patient with reckless drivers on the road and I've grown even more patient with my demanding clients at work.

For once in my life everything seems to be coming together for me everything seems to be working out and I am happy about it, that and what Sanele keeps feeding me, Hard thrusts and magical orgasms and also the fact that I received a coin for my SAA class, I'm officially a recovered addict although a lot of work still needs to be done but I am happy that the past two weeks have been so good to me ever since we came back from cape Town and I am happy to look forward to my future despite the Anele and Mandla drama we left back home who's still shut me out.

I walk into my office all smiles and as soon as I place my bag on my desk Lethu walks into my office with his hands pocketed and a mild smile on his face and I can't help but smile back at him.

"Seems like somebody's in a great mood."

"Good morning Lethu, how can I be of your assistance?"
I politely ask as he starts to walk further into my office.

"We have a huge client today that's looking to draw up divorce settlement papers and he's especially asked that he speaks with our current best lawyer."

"So the partners asked for me ?"

"Yes."

"And you didn't try to snatch him up for yourself ?"
I know Lethu this was an opportunity for him to prove himself to the senior partners and prove himself worthy of a promotion.

"Please Khwezi, I am way past that, for a change I want to see you win too... ive noticed that you haven't really been yourself for these past three months, but you seem a lot better lately."

He explains and I give him a small nod in understanding. Definitely what I wasn't expecting.

"You noticed..."
I say and he pauses for a little bit.

"I know you, remember ? and I was with you when shit would hit the fan... I know happy Khwezi and sad Khwezi, and I've been around sad Khwezi for a really long time, she's familiar but one I don't know is the happy Khwezi, I version I don't know but I also love to see a lot more often and I am happy that I'm getting to see it now."

He explains and small smile grows on my lips and I stare down at my desk for a few moments. I never knew hes taken a note of these things, I always thought that I've always hid my emotions so well that nobody would ever be able to read me when really it's people like Lethu that made me realise that I did a shit job at hiding my pain in the past.

"I know things between us ended on a bad note... and I am aware of the part that I played in hurting you... so If your willing to forgive me... I'm really sorry Lethu."

He stares at me for a few moments before he smirks at me.

"He has you apologizing and writing your wrongs ?"
He comments and I start to laugh and I shake my head.

"Trust me it's as excruciating as you think it is but I don't regret saying it... I mean it Lethu."

"And I accept your apology, and I am really sorry too for ever hurting you in the process, your a really great woman and i think you husband is very lucky to have you."
