Khwezikazi.
Step two : invest in physical health.
I look at myself in the mirror before I zip up my jersey as I fix my weave again. I stare at myself in the mirror for a few more moments in silence as I take in my outfit. To be honest I hate every minute of having to cover up but at the same time Im secretly starting to get comfortable especially since my AA meetings I'm starting to realise that a lot of the things that I've let myself get accustomed to have actually heavily contributed to my addiction. I've tried my best to cover up more and be a bit more modest and for the first time since Sanele put me in these clothes I am actually really comfortable in them. I love who I am inside of them, I am not the woman I thought i was before now.
I'm wearing black Yoga pants and a black tight fitting zip up jersey and some nike takkies to match.
I look good, i feel confident since forever and I smile at this thought because for once I am able to smile about something again.I grab my bags and I head down stairs to the garage and I get into my beat up car and I start to drive out to the pillates studio, when I get there I sighn up again before they give me a Locker to store my stuff in and I finally go and join class.
Class takes a little over an hour and it leaves me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
"Khwezi, fancy seeing you here."
Somebody says as they come to stand next to me as she gives me a small smile.
This lady looks an awful lot familiar.
Right she's one of the Saneles friends wives, Funeka. Just as I am about to greet her back Nwabisa comes as well.
"Khwezi, hy it's so good to see you ."
Nwabisa starts and i give her a small smile."It's so good to see you too."
"How's everything at home Sanele mentioned that you had a family emergency ?"
She asks, concerned face and everything. He did didn't he ?
"Uh everything back at home is okay now and everything has been handled and already back to normal, thank you for asking."
"That's really good to hear and Stacy how is she and the new baby ?"
It was only a matter of time till they asked me about Stacy.
"Stacy and the baby are okay."
"Mmhm those little Gumede soldiers don't play, we all knew that in a matter of time one of you was going get knocked up, and now that it's Stacy pretty soon that will be you." - Funeka
"I feel like it's good to know that there's a promise of a baby in the near future irrespective of the time, but what about you and Uh what's your husband's name ?"
"Sifiso."
She confidently answers.Sifiso is the one that tried to get me pregnant with his eyes the other day he and Nwabisa's husband.
"From what I hear you and Sifiso have been married for quiet some time now, and theres no sighn of a baby yet. Stop being so jelouse of people with functioning reproductive organs."
She looks at me for some time with a very sour look before she places her shades back on her eyes and she looks at Nwabisa.
"I'll be in the car."
She says walking off and I look her way until she disappears around the corner."She'll be okay don't mind her... we're actually planning on grabbing some smoothies at a restaurant nearby just to cool off I think it would be really nice if we got to catch up, plus Saneles been hiding you, with you good reason of course."
Nwabisa says as she hooks her arm around mine and we start to walk out of the studio.
