I call out as i nudge her awake on the sofa but she doesn't budge, I don't know where she got alcohol from in this place but she seems to have gotten it somehow.

We moved out of the house that I used to live with Tlhabane in three days ago now and I haven't told Sanele yet, the money that I had in one of my savings account won't last us over six months, that's the money that Tlhabane knew about.

As soon as I realised how much our marriage had gone into shit I started slowly moving money into crypto and making multiple investments as an insurance policy. Since that night with Sanele I knew that soon this day would come, I knew that I will be left to fend for myself, but I never expected it to be this way... this messy and this draining.

My body is aching In many many places, and my breasts are very painful and inflamed and now feeding Letho has become a huge challenge for me because I am in agony with every single feed and it doesn't help that we've booked into a hotel that we can barely even relax in because there's always something happening with our neighbors.

I have a meeting with Tlhabane the lawyers in an hour and I still need to catch an Uber in the middle of rush hour traffic.

I call out again as I nudge her again and she groans.

"Mmmhm"
She replies.

"Mama wake up please I need you to watch Letho... I'll be back within a few hours okay, I've pumped some milk for him that's untill I come back and I've already fed him and he's still sleeping so-"

Snoring, Snoring, Snoring."

"Mah?"
I call out again as she's falling asleep again with  bottle of old buck clasped to her chest.

I can't believe this.

She can't even show up for me when I need her the most, she knew how much this meeting
Was important for me and all I needed was for her to be sober for one day...

A tear slips past my eye lid and I quickly move my finger past my chest and i turn my phone on to look for somebody I can call.

I see one of the wives from Tlhabane and i's friend group Mmabatho and I decide to give her a call. The phone rings for what feels like forever before she picks up.

"Hy babes how are you it's been long ?"
I greet as she soon she picks up.

"I am good... Obatlang?"
[What do you want ?]

Damn.

[I need someone to look after Letho, for a few hours, is it okay if I dropped him off at your house, I promise I won't take long its just for two hours and I promise we will be out of your hair ."

"Why don't you ask the man you cheated on Tlhabane with ?"

"Mmhm Sistas, you enjoyed opening your legs for other man out there not even thinking about how this would affect your husband now you want me to stay with your son ? Askies sesi, you made your bed now lie in it."
She says quickly hanging up at her full stop and I am left dumb founded.

So Tlhabane has already told people about this? And he's even turned our friends against me ?

I try calling some of our other friends but their numbers don't go through, I try texting but they don't even read my text messages. By the time I give up I'm already almost into the thirty minutes that I had allocated for traveling.

I Google day cares all around the area of the hotel and I find one almost fifteen kilos away and I give them a call. The lady tells me to bring Letho in and everything else that they might need but I will obviously have to pay a certain amount and sighn an indemnity form so I agree to drop Letho off soon and I get to packing a small bag for him and I request an Uber to the day care.
