Chapter 39 - Advantage.

Khwezikazi.

Faye sprints towards me as soon as I make it into the house and I swifly lift her up into my arms and I pepper kisses all over her while rubbing her fur and she responds by licking my face and I giggle at her.

The smell of grilled meat fills my nostrils and I already know that Sanele is cooking up a storm. I kick my heels off and I walk to the kitchen and just like I had expected he's behind the stove indeed cooking up a storm and I smile at this.

His eyes catch mine and a small smile also grows on his face and he stares back at his pots.

"I hope your hungry."
He says as he closes one of his lids and I walk towards him. I put Faye down and I now begin to wrap my arms around his broad shoulders as he places his hands on my buttocks before our lips join together and I can't help but smile at this.

I love this man and our love this little life of ours that we are doing here, I am happy.

"What are we having tonight ?"
I ask as he now kneads my bum, just like he always does whenever he's around me.

"Pechana  Steak with a side of mash potatoes and some lightly salted steamed asparagus with a small of topping of gravy."

"Angazi ukuthi yini i asparagus, my mother never cooked us fancy food."
I tell him as I wrap my arms tighter around him and he smiles at me even more.

"Good thing you have me."
He says and I giggle at him before his smile dies down and he stares down at me. I give his cheek a small rub as I also stare into his eyes.

"Have I ever told you how gorgeous you are ?"

"You tell me everyday."

"And I still can't help but want to tell you chance I get."

"You make me feel pretty even when I don't think I am in the moment."

"Because I don't want you to forget this... I don't want you to forget how much I love you Khwezi."

"I know..."

"I mean it..."

"I know... and I love you too."
I tell him and he gives me a little nod before kissing me again. This time he pulls me even closer to him as he kisses me harder and I pull away from him and I give him another stare as I cup both his cheeks.

The emotions in his eyes says that scared for something deeply afraid ... he's scared about some thing and I want to know what it is already because knowing that he's not emotional present with me in this moment makes me anxious or the fact that something is bothering him alone makes me feel really worried.

"Sanele... what's going on ?"
I ask and he lightly shakes his head.

"It's nothing... I just really wanted you to know this."

"I know."
I say as I add a little pause between my second sentence before giving him a reassuring nod of my own and i gently caress his cheek with my thumb.

"But i also know that whatever your scared about we can work through, together... side by side."

"Even if it's something that's really really bad ?"

"Yes."

"Okay..."
He says as he gives me a small nod and I place a kiss on his lips before I wrap my arms around him again and he too hugs me.

"It's okay, we can work through it... whatever it is."
I reassure him as I gently rub his back and he stays there for sometime squeezing me tightly every so often.
