but mike knew this meant that the result would be better, as they're both the smartest of oxford, this project was 60 % of their grade anways.

" you know, i really wonder how professor steve has such great hair. " will murmured.

" so, do you guys have any projects this term ? " ellise asked, when maxine nodded.

" i got paired with lucas ! " maxine exclaimed, excitedly.

" maybe it's cause wheeler has a cat ? maybe you want a cat so that it could attract his cat and him all together- " maxine joked, earning a glare from ellise.

mike and malcolm were discussing their fender mustangs while dustin and lucas were discussing dustin's 'non-existent' girlfriend. 

" suzie is real ! " dustin bickered back to lucas' 'accusation'.

while discussing, max walked up to lucas and they started being all 'lovey-dovey', will noticed lucas, dustin and malcolm and started talking to them about dnd.

that left ellise and mike, awkwardly just standing there.

" so, mike wasowski, will we be doing our project today ? " ellise asked, chuckling at her own joke.

" unfortunately, yes. i should've got my mask to protect myself from your idiot germs. " mike joked, taking out the case files.

" why protect yourself from something you permanently have ? " ellise said, before mike gave her a 'not funny.' look.

they both sat down at the desk, to work on their project.

they made a good team, despite them despising eachother.

" wait the killer killed the cat as well as the victims ?! " ellise gasped, her mouth covered by her porcelain-like hands.

" yeah, brutal isn't it ? i honestly prefer dogs but why the cat ?" mike said.

" yeah you seem like the kind of dog lover, as you are a female dog yourself. " ellise joked.

" hey this is a gender discrimination !! " mike joked, hitting her with a newspaper, making ellise fake being hurt.

" according to me, you dingus. " ellise said, they'll never stop, will they ?

mike laughed. " yeah, dingus dingus dingus, weird names y'know, sarge ? "

" yeah, if sarge isn't weird enough, now, another thing's that's weird, linda's time during the incident in this case. " ellise said, pointing at the dusty paper.

" hmm.... well, we shall research, eh ? " mike said, taking out his macbook.
