" wake up, mikeee. " el whined, pushing his lanky body, attempting to wake the boy up.

" ugh... " the ebony haired boy groaned sloppily, his head buried in the pillow.

" come on, mike, you have ten minutes or i'm leaving without you. " el said, pulling the soft comforter off him.

" huff, fine. " he said, walking groggily out of the bed, before hugging el softly.

" you're so clingy. " el snickered, hugging him.

" so are you. " he said, leaning down to kiss her brushed yet messy hair.

el flushed crimson, before sighing into his arms.

" come on, get ready quickly or else i'll shove that charger up your throat and pull it up your ass. "

" not-so-cute anymore. " he smiled, before heading to the bathroom to freshen up.

the couple walked next to their friends, talking to them joyfully.

" i'm so excited to explore the forest !! " malcolm exclaimed happily.

" stop acting like dora the explorer like you're going to find some fox or something. " dustin said, looking at the grass.

" dora the dropkicker, " lucas said, as malcolm punched his arm playfully.

" well that's unique. " el mumbled, as she looked ahead of them, where the cafeteria stood.

" we only have a few days left, here. " will stated, looking around.

" better make the best of it. "

the friends walk through the forest was a pleasant one. 

they soon came upon a small pond, shaded by a copse of trees.

 the pond was very tranquil and beautiful, a perfect spot to rest and relax. 

mike and el walked toward the pond, enjoying its tranquil beauty.

" it's beautiful. " she murmured under her breath, her gaze set upon the pond.

" just like you. " mike said, to which el looked up, her doe eyes glistening in the sunlight.

" really ? " she asked, her fingers intertwined with his.

" yeah, just like you, el. "

el smiled gently, kissing his cheek nuzzling her nose on his cheek.

" so, i heard this pond had fishes in it ? " mike said, to cover up his embarrassment.

" yep, i don't see any of them fellas in i- " lucas was about to say, before some small fishes swam along the border of the pond. 

" OH MY HECKING GOD !! " will shrieked with chaos in his tone. " THERE'S FISHES !!"

mike chuckled as he watched the fishes swim peacefully, ignoring the boy's shrieks.

el clung onto mike's jacket, as mike gripped his hand around her shoulder.

" ugh.. " max groaned. " now i want a fish, so badly. "

" same.. " dustin said, watching an ivory white fish swim swiftly.

there were moments like these mike and el would cherish,

but there are others that may not be so cherished.

one of those, is yet to come.
