ellise packed up her things. her favourite pyjamas, books, laptop, ipad, phone, clothes, oreos and peanut butter for 'emergencies'.

it was the day of the camping trip, she was so excited, she could scream. her summer break had started, she could get a break from her academics and actually have fun.

she packed up before getting smacked with a pillow by her twin, william. 

" will, what the hell ?! " she yelled, before smacking at will with a book.

it was just friendly sibling fighting, but hey, they're like best friends.

" you ready hoe ? " will asked, receiving an eyeroll from the horrible nickname.

" yeah, gayass. "

" damn, attitude, let's get to the bus stop before the crusty bus leaves us. "

they spent a while walking to the bus stop, where they saw maxine talking with lucas.

" hey maxy. " ellise said, before performing a dramatic handshake with max.

" heya, y'all ready ? "

" yep. all ready, even packed my bug spray to spray on nicholas when we reach. " will joked. nicholas was his ex, who cheated on him with some girl next door.

ellise and max chuckled, before overhearing a conversation between dustin and mike.

" fine, she's cute, but i don't like her. " mike admitted, a slight cloud of crimson painted on to his freckled cheeks.

" yeah, but a cute girl is a cute girl ! " dustin exclaimed, before chuckling a bit.

" i knew it though ! " lucas said.

" hm ? " ellise thought, whom was mike talking about, something deep within her heart, felt jealous, she was unaware why.

not like she liked mike, right ?

" okay kiddos ! time for the trip ! all in ! " the driver called in his husky voice, before throwing away the ivory and salamander shaded cigarette which he definitely wasn't smoking. 

they rolled their eyes.

max and will were the first to board along with lucas.

lucas sat with max, will sat next to the window with his friend damien, malcolm sat next to dustin as they discussed something along the lines of 'pizza or burgers'.

mike waited a little more as he was trying to change the song which was playing in his earphones.

ellise dropped her purse before entering the bus.

" crap ! "

mike handed her the purse.

" damn, you being nice for once, gold star for you mike. thank you." ellise joked.

mike rolled his eyes, before he smiled, "no problem. " ellise turned a little red at first but turned to face the bus before that.

then ellise had a realization. 

there were no open seats in the bus other than the seat next to the window where mike sat.

well that's tragic.

ellise sat in the leather seat, taking out her earphones and phone. mike looked at her in between, which she was completely oblivious to, before turning back, with a crimson face.

why's she so pretty ?!

he pondered, while looking out, as the light breeze swished through the glass window.

ellise then started to zone out, while listening to the song on the playlist.

mike watched her, 

very pretty.

too pretty.

a while passed, ellise started to drift into sleep, unaware of her surroundings, she leaned onto the 'soft pillow' to her left.

mike turned crimson when the dusty blonde's hair fit perfectly on his shoulder.

she felt warm.

maybe they could stay like this for a while, while she's asleep.
