THIRD PERSON'S POV:
(CLYDE SIDE)🌺

Clyde lay in his bed now, the memory of the kiss replaying in his mind. His heart pounded in his chest as he recalled the softness of her lips, the warmth of her body close to his. He felt a blush creep up his cheeks as he thought about it. He furrowed his brows, trying to understand the strange feeling that was bubbling up inside him.

Earlier that night, Ethan had confessed his feelings for him. Clyde had rejected him, not out of malice but simply because he didn't feel the same way. But now, as he thought about Lily, he wondered if he had made the right decision.

He thought about Ivy, his long-time crush. Usually, just the thought of her would make his heart flutter and cheeks turn pink. But tonight, he didn't feel that familiar rush of emotions. Instead, all he could think about was Lily, his friend who had always been so emotionless, so distant. But tonight, she had shown him a side of her he had never seen before.

Clyde felt a strange sensation in his chest. It was a warm, fluttery feeling that he couldn't quite put a name to. He wondered if this was what it felt like to fall for someone. As he lay there, staring at the ceiling, he couldn't help but think about Lily. The memory of their kiss under the lamppost filled his mind, leaving no room for anything else.

'what is this feeling?'Clyde thought to himself, after a while he felt his eyes began feeling heavy soon after he fall asleep drifting off to sleep. He embraced his other pillow and hugged it tightly.

(LILY'S SIDE)🌺

Lily, often known as the emotionless girl, found herself unusually flustered as she lay in her bed that night. The room was dimly lit by the moonlight that seeped in through the window, the silence only broken occasionally by the soft, rhythmic breathing of her twin in the next room.

Her mind was a whirl of thoughts, all centered around one event - the unexpected kiss she had shared with Clyde, her friend. She could still feel the warmth of his lips on hers, the surprise in his eyes that mirrored her own. It was a memory that made her heart flutter in a way she had never experienced before.

She brought a hand up to her lips, touching them gently as if trying to hold onto the feeling of the kiss. A smile, rare and genuine, spread across her face. It was a small, almost imperceptible curve of her lips, but it was there - a sign of the emotions stirring within her.

Lily closed her eyes, letting herself relive that moment under the lamppost. She could remember every detail - the soft glow of the light, the quiet of the street, the warmth of Clyde's body close to hers. And the kiss - it was like a spark that had ignited something within her.

For the first time in a long time, Lily felt something other than her usual emotionless calm. She felt a flutter in her chest, a warmth spreading through her. She didn't quite understand these feelings, but she welcomed them. As she drifted off to sleep, her thoughts were filled with Clyde and their unexpected kiss.

'his lips are soft..I wish I could kiss him again'

{MORNING>8:26 AM}🤍
(NO CLASS CAUSE IT'S THEIR HOLIDAY)

Clyde woke up to the bright morning sun streaming through his window. He stretched and yawned, a smile playing on his lips as he remembered the events of the previous night. He got up and went through his morning routine, his mind still consumed by thoughts of Lily.

After freshening up, he went downstairs and was immediately greeted by the warm smile of his mother. She had prepared a hearty breakfast and invited him to join her. He happily obliged, enjoying the comforting routine of a family meal.

Once he finished his breakfast, Clyde decided to take a walk to clear his head. He headed towards the nearby beach, the sound of the waves and the salty sea air always helped him think. He found a bench and sat down, his eyes lost in the mesmerizing dance of the waves.

As he sat there, lost in his thoughts, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and was met with the sight of Ivy, his long-time crush. But as he looked at her, he didn't feel the usual rush of emotions. He just smiled and greeted her, a sense of calm washing over him.

Ivy returned his smile and sat down next to him. She started making conversation, her voice a pleasant hum in the background. As they sat there, talking and laughing, Clyde found himself enjoying Ivy's company in a new way. He was no longer flustered or nervous around her, instead, he felt a sense of comfort and friendship.

Just as he was beginning to understand his new feelings, his phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out and saw a message from Lily. His heart skipped a beat as he opened it. It was a simple message, just asking how he was doing, but it was enough to bring a smile to his face.

As he sat there, next to Ivy, he realized that his feelings for her had changed. He no longer saw her as a crush, but as a friend. And as he thought about Lily, he felt a warm, fluttery feeling in his chest. It was then that he understood - he was falling for Lily.

In a twist of fate, Clyde found himself in a situation he never imagined. His long-time crush was now his friend, and his friend was now his crush. As he sat there, watching the waves crash against the shore, he felt a sense of peace and clarity. He was ready to face his feelings and see where they would take him.

Clyde and Ivy sat side by side on a weathered bench, their conversation flowing effortlessly as the sound of crashing waves provided a soothing backdrop. The sun began its descent, casting a warm golden glow over the beach and painting the sky in shades of pink and orange.

Ivy couldn't help but notice Clyde's flustered expression as he furiously typed away on his phone. Curiosity got the better of her, and she decided to ask him about it.

"Hey, Clyde," Ivy began, her voice filled with genuine curiosity. "You seem a bit flustered. Is everything alright?"

Clyde looked up from his phone, a slight blush coloring his cheeks. He smiled sheepishly at Ivy, his eyes filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness. "Oh, hey Ivy. Yeah, everything's fine. I... um... I actually just received a message from someone."

Ivy's interest was piqued. She leaned in slightly, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Oh? Who is it? Is it someone special?"

Clyde's blush deepened as he fumbled with his words. "Well, it's... it's from Lily, actually. We had this... unexpected moment last night, and I can't stop thinking about it. She messaged me just now, and it's made me feel... different."

Ivy's eyes widened in surprise, a mixture of emotions crossing her face. She had always known about Clyde's crush on her, but the mention of Lily and the change in Clyde's demeanor caught her off guard. She took a moment to gather her thoughts before responding.

"That's... unexpected," Ivy replied, her voice filled with a mix of curiosity and concern. "What happened between you and Lily? And how are you feeling now?"

Clyde took a deep breath, his gaze fixed on the horizon. "Well, last night, under the lamppost near our neighborhood, Lily and I... we kissed. It was unexpected, but it felt... right. I can't explain it. And now, as I sit here with you, I realize that my feelings for you have changed. I see you more as a friend, Ivy."

Ivy listened intently, her heart both heavy and relieved at the same time. She had always valued her friendship with Clyde and had wondered if there was something more between them. But now, with this unexpected twist, she felt a sense of clarity.

"I appreciate your honesty, Clyde," Ivy said softly, her voice filled with sincerity. "And I'm glad that we can still be friends. Sometimes, life surprises us in ways we never expect. Maybe this is a chance for both of us to explore new possibilities."

Clyde nodded, a mixture of relief and anticipation flooding his expression. "You're right, Ivy. Life is full of surprises, and maybe this is just the beginning of a new chapter for both of us. I'm grateful to have you as a friend, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes us."

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the beach, Clyde and Ivy continued their conversation, their friendship evolving in unexpected ways. The beach witnessed their heartfelt exchange, a testament to the unpredictable nature of love and the beauty of genuine connections.

'well I guess this is my fate'
