A few hours pass and we're finally getting into the evening, and the girls are fiending, of course.
Eve: Hmmm... perhaps dinner?
Ahri: Yeah, I'd say it's a good time.
Y/N: You guys just stay here... relax, I got it.
Kali takes full advantage, letting out a sigh of relief, groaning as she sinks even further into the couch. I walk into the kitchen, thinking of something I can make for a big portion. Most of the dishes I remember were Italian, so, I'll go with that.
Now's not the time to experiment, so I'll use what we have in the fridge to make spaghetti and meatballs, using a turkey meatballs recipe that Sona's mother taught me when she visited, that date night that ended up a disaster... heh...
We don't talk about that... anyway, let's get to cooking.
A COOKING THEME ENSUES!
I go from seasoning the ground turkey, to mashing it up, to adding an egg, breadcrumbs. I throw them in the oven as I stir the pot full of sauce. The scent of garlic reeks around the house, but I can tell by the sniffing that Kai and Ahri are in love.
Cooking for these girls? Are you kidding, Y/N? What happened to not deserving them? You should just admit it now, before you hurt yourself. They don't like you, YOU'RE A SLAVE!!! REMEMBER?! Bold of you to assume you'd amount to anything, your mom and dad both said so.
Akali and Ahri were only with you in the car, talking your ear off BECAUSE YOU ARE SAD!!! It was a pity drink, it was all pity, all they want was a filthy, adorable powerless to serve them until you croak...
These thoughts... I'm getting the thoughts again, I really don't deserve them, or this job, they kept me around anyway. I nearly start to cry as my hands shake, stirring the pot, but it doesn't stop me. The spaghetti is ready, and then I throw the half-cooked balls in the pot, cooking them with the sauce.
Y/N: Is anyone here vegetarian?
All of them shake their heads, good. I still make a salad to alongside it anyway, but I guess it's now my turn to start making dishes. I make a plate for each girl, pasta, three balls, garnished with basil and parmesan cheese. That's it, all of it is done, now I can set the table. This whole process took a good 45 minutes.
Y/N: Alright, dinner's up!
The girls all rush to the table.
Eve: Oh my...
Akali: It looks amazing! Definitely not something I've had in a while.
Ahri: Oh, Italian is amazing!
Kai: I-I didn't you could cook like this...
Akali: There's a lot of things you don't know... uhh... Y/N, where's your plate?
Y/N: What?
Ahri: Yeah, yeah, come on! Sit with us! You're a member of the house too!
Eve: I think you also earned your meal tonight...
The way she phrased that was like my mom... but... she said the total opposite. I feel... warm, did I piss myself? No, just... not cold like I usually do, this feels really nice.
Y/N: Sure... s-sure...
I make a plate for myself and sit down with them, and they all express their enjoyment after taking their first bite.
Ahri: Oh wow! You did this with turkey?!
Kai: That's shocking... no red meat at all...
Kali: This is one of the greatest plates of spaghetti I've ever eaten.
