Adya Like Mommy

Adhi gained conciousness.. he slowly opened his eyes finding a doctor standing and smiling at him, "I hope you are feeling better" said the doctor.. Adhi looked around and tried recalling where and how he is.. "you are in hospital you got a panic attack, we have checked all your reports you are good to go, and most important congratulations for the baby girl" said the doctor reminding Adhi that he was at the blood bank to collect blood for kavya.. he looked at his surrounding confused as the doctor left him alone in his room.. he rushed out and searched for malini mayank and everyone.. he stopped seeing malini playing with a baby and slowly approached her with high emotions.. he came and stood numb at a distance admiring the baby when malini realised Adhi's presence and rushed to him " Adhi dekho tumhari beti" said Malini forwarding the baby.. Adhi with a confused gaze took baby in his hands nervously and cried his heart out as he was so scared of losing his child, finally she was here.. their baby Adya was here in his hands..he remembered the doctors warnings and kavya's depression and insecurities when she used to cry out of fear, "dekho kavya agayi hamari nanhi si jaan" said Adhi and kissed Adya's forehead, he lifted his head to find kavya but soon realised that kavya was not around.. " maa kavya kahan hai?" asked Adhi getting anxious.. Malini held him for support.. " beta tujhe strong banna padega apni beti ke lie" she remarked.. "Maa kavya kahan hai?" he asked again.. " Jiju didi abhi ICU me hai, unko hosh nahi aya hai" informed Mayank seeing Adhi in panic mode.. Adhi handed over baby to malini and rushed towards ICU but stopped by the security guards.. "please mujhe jaaney dijie.. mujhe meri kavya ko dekhna hai" pleaded Adhi.. " Sir we are sorry lekin doctor ne mana kiya hai" informed the guards with respect, "please ek baar me bas usko dekhlu please" said Adhi folding his hands.. guards got scared and asked for sometime as they will go and request doctors for visit.. Adhi tried to wait patiently but he was drenched in sweat as he panicked.. mayank tried to calm him down but nothing in the world except for kavya could give him peace at that moment.. the guard returned and cleared the way for him to enter.. Adhi rushed in and stood numb in front of kavya's bed seeing her again in between those machines and drips as she was when poisoned fighting for life.. he looked at doctor in fear as he approached him to inform the health update.. " Adhiraj ji, apki wife ki tabiyat bahut nazuk hai, wo coma me hai, hume darr hai ke unko hosh me aney bahut waqt lagega" said doctor and kept his hand on Adhi's shoulder asking him to stay strong
. Adhi slowly went near kavya and kissed her forehead as she remained motionless.. "congratulations Bansu.. Adya is duniya me aa chuki hai and bilkul theek hai" whispered Adhi in kavya's ears.. " apni maa ko yaad kar rahi hai... please uthjao" he said but she still didnt move and Adhi started crying in silent sobs unable to hold his pain.. " please uthjao na Kavya please" he pleaded but kavya remained the same.. he wiped his tears but fresh ones made their way, he caressed her head with love and took her hand in his.. "mujhe aur Adya ko tumhari bahut zarurat hai, ek baar phr tumse door rehna humse nahi ho payega Bansu" cried Adhi.. and rested his head on her chest listening to her heart beats.. "I love you na yaar" he said and closed his eyes...

Adya kept crying in malini's arms and even Anjali couldnt make her silent, aadhi was lost in his grief and kept staring at the ICU door expecting a doctor to come and inform that kavya gained concious but it never happened.. Malini came near Adhi and put Adya in his arms.. "nahi sunrahi tumhari beti humse tum hi koshish karke dekhlo" said Malini sobbing.. Adhi looked at Adya and remembered kavya's words.. "jab hum nahi kar paenge to tum karlena aur jab tumse nahi hoga to hum karlenge, isi tarah balance krke apni imperfect life ko perfect bnaege" Adhi recalled Kavya once telling it to him, he took Adya in his embrace and started singing

Adhi remembered kavya and tears rolled down his eyes, he looked at Adya and found her peacefully sleeping in his arms just like kavya used to calm down in his embrace.. he gently kissed her and wished they could celebrate her birth if kavya would have been there with them..
The cruelest time for Adhi.. at one side his heart was drenched in pain and at other Adya wont live without Adhi, he remembered how kavya only wanted him around from the begining of pregnancy and realised why Adya could only connect with him and no one else.. "mama ki tarah papa se door nahi rehna chahti ho?" asked Adhi in a baby tone and kissed her while she laughed in excitement..
Adya was 5 days old and wouldnt leave Adhi, he took her near kavya and placed her near, letting Adya cry while he sat there looking at them, he had a strong feeling that Adya was the only drive which could bring her back.. it was already 15 mins of Adya crying but kavya was still unresponsive,.. unable to hear more of Adya's cry Adhi forwarded his hand to pick her up but stayed back realising kavya moving her eyes with in closed eyelids.. Doctor who happened to pass by noticed development in kavya' response and rushed to check her.. "kavya is regaining conciousness Mr Adhiraj" informed the doctor and  called out for medical help.. Adhi smiled and took Adya in his arms winking at her and holding her tight near him "Thankyou baby" he mumbled and looked positively at kavya...
after 2 days..
kavya opened her eyes and looked around she smiled looking at Adhi standing in front of her holding their baby.. "bahut hogaya ab uth jao yaar Bansu" said Adhi, kavya tried to smile with lits of efforts, "hmari?" asked Kavya in a feeble tone looking at baby. " Humari beti "Adya" said Adhi, tears of happiness rolled her eyes and she tried to forward her hand towards them, but she felt so weak that her hands won't lift much.. "Abhi araam karo,papa hai Adya ki duty pe, jald se theek hoajana phr mama ko hi sambhalna hai" said Adhi looking at Adya with a satisfied smile.. he came forward and kissed kavya's forward as they both started crying pouring out their fears and struggles.. "me doctor se baat krke aata hoon, tum rest kro" said Adhi wiping his and kavya's tears and left room with Adya..
