6 Months later,

"Are you ready?" Meredith asked smiling at Amelia who looked gorgeous in her wedding dress.
"Yes." Amelia said smiling, she was more than ready. Today was going to be one of the best days of her life.
"Ok well it's 11am time for your first look." Meredith said smiling.
Meredith couldn't help but smile, she was both so incredibly proud of her sister and happy for her.
"Thanks, do I look ok?" Amelia asked checking herself in the mirror one last time.
"You look perfect Amelia." Arizona said smiling from the door.
"Thank you Ari," Amelia said, "here I go" Amelia said walking out the door.
Once she once completely out of earshot. Arizona bent down next to Meredith smiling.
"Are you ready?" Arizona asked smiling at her wife.
"I think so, are you?" Meredith asked knowing she was asking a lot of her wife.
"Most definitely, we've got 10minutes before the ceremony start, do you need to do anything before then?" Arizona replied,
"No I think I'm all good." Meredith replied smiling.

After the Wedding at the reception
The weddings had been beautiful, nearly everyone cried. The twins wore matching emerald green dresses and Scout was in an emerald green suit that perfectly matched Kai's. The venue had been perfect with plenty of room for Meredith to roll down the aisle. Ellis has been the flower girl pulling her cousins behind her in a mini wagon. It had just been beautiful.
Now they had finished dinner it was time for the traditional dances. Seeing as Amelia couldn't do a father daughter dance, Amelia had asked Meredith to dance with her instead. When she'd first asked Meredith was speechless honoured by the opportunity.
"Now it is time for the first dance of the night." Addison said smiling into microphone. Addison had officiated the weddings, making the day all the more special.
Meredith shared a glance with Arizona before moving forward in her chair to dance with Amelia. Stopping just before meeting Amelia on the dance floor.
"Meredith is everything ok?" Amelia asked concerned,
"Everything is perfect Amelia." Meredith said, as she looked behind her and Arizona started to walk forward,
"What's going on?" Amelia asked confused looking around to see nearly everyone was a confused as her, everyone except Kai and Addison.
As Amelia looked back, she failed to hold back tears as she saw Meredith standing, being supported partly by Arizona but standing.
"Mer?" Amelia said smiling.
"Amy will you dance with me?" Meredith asked reaching out her arm to Amelia. Her hands still didn't work properly but she had regained practically all of her muscles in her arms.
"Yes of course I will Mer." Amelia said, through tears taking Meredith's hand in hers.
The music started and Meredith managed a step forward still being supported from behind by Arizona, resting her other arm on Amelia's shoulder. The pair danced, as the music played, and slowly other people joined the dance floor. Eventually towards the end of the song Kai walked up to the pair, gently tapping Meredith shoulder who happily moved to the side letting Kai dance with their wife.

Arizona who had felt more of Meredith weight fall into her during the dance helped Meredith back to her chair,
"Are you ok my love?" Arizona asked, sitting down next to Meredith.
"I'm more than ok Zona," Meredith said smiling,
"Remember when that was us?" Meredith remised about her and Arizona wedding.
"You were the most beautiful Bride my love." Arizona cooed
"No you were Zona." Meredith said laughing, "how about we get up there and dance." Meredith suggested, earning a smile from Arizona.
"Rest for a bit my love, we can dance later." Arizona said resting her hand on Meredith's thigh. "But I'm so proud of you my love." Arizona said smiling.
"I said I would dance at Amelia's wedding." Meredith said smugly.

15 years later.

"10 Blade," the intern said, nerves clear in her voice.
"Here you are Dr Grey-Shepard." Meredith said proud of her daughter as she started her first solo surgery. Meredith couldn't have been prouder of Zola. She honestly wouldn't have minded what her kids did as long as they where happy, but to see her daughter in an OR made her beyond proud.
