"Ms. Alcantara po Sir?"

Napalingon ako sa papasok sa company. It was a man, holding a child's hand asking the security officer something.

"She forgot these documents po, naiwan din n'ya yung phone n'ya so we decided na isunod sakanya. Nandyaan po ba sya?"

My hand turned into a fist as soon as I saw that familiar face.

"Goodmorning Manong, is my Äiti here?" Said the child. Huminga ako ng malalim to suppress the jealousy I am feeling inside.

"Ate mo kamo ijo?"

"Ah, yung mo-"

"Ahh yes Sir, my ate," the child added. I never knew Rowena could have a sibling who looks mostly like her.

"Benjamin she's not-"

"What's the matter here?" I asked paglapit ko sakanila. I glared at that guy who took her from me. Whom she went with abroad... Damn it.

"Hi mister, is my ate here?" The child suddenly asked me. I scoughed.

"I am her boss, and I believe it's not quite her break time yet," asik ko at hindi pinansin ang bata at matamang tinignan ang lalaking to. Di hamak na mas gwapo naman ako sakanya.

"Good day, I'm glad to finally meet her boss. By the way I am Patricio, this is Benjamin her s-"

"Brother," the child intervened. Nilingon ko lang ang kamay n'ya.

"Fabio Morgan," iyon lamang ang isinagot ko. He noticed that I've got no plans to take his hand kaya ibinaba na n'ya ito.

"This child is kidding, this is her son-"

"Adoptive and we're like siblings!"

"I don't care. Give it to me, ako na ang magbibigay sakanya," saad ko. The guy hesitated but then he also gave them to me.

"Thanks. Uhm may I ask what's her break time? Since we're already here we'll just wait for her-"

"I'm afraid I cannot tell. We're too busy to deal with personal matters in this company. You can just leave," singhal ko. Napapalingon ako sa bata when he started glaring at me. Kumunot ang nuo ko sakanya and he did the same thing. This silly kid, who even thought of him glare like this at his elders.

"Is that so Mr. Morgan? Then I guess we'll just take our leave. Please give it to her," ani nito sa akin the growing tension and frustration inside me is immeasurable. How dare he even step foot in this company, in my company.

"Also please tell her we'll be waiting at home," he added and even smiled at me. Oh I would love to rip off that smile of him.

"Let's go, Benjamin," he said and led the way out kasama yung batang hindi ako tinigilan na tignan. He seems investigating every each of me habang palakad s'ya palabas. Imbis na sa harap sa tumingin sa'kin s'ya nakatingin na halos ikabali na ng leeg n'ya. I just rolled my eyes and went upstairs, I called someone to ask for something before finally going to her.

"Your other man told me to give these things to you," I said at hindi na s'ya tinignan. I don't even care anymore, I'm just desperate to have her. I'll do whatever lengths I have to just to gain even just a little bit of her love and affection. Just to make her show those things to me again.

Even if I have to be as cold as ice just to make her realize that I still have even an inch of importance in her life I will. That's why I distanced myself that day. After that night in La Playa, because I know she wouldn't want me to make a big deal out of it.
