"Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia...?" I didn't know what to say. Mr. Patricio, Rowena's friend, suddenly called me a while ago while I was doing some rounds in K.Y.

"Yes Sir," the child answered. They asked to meet me. I didn't actually asked Rowena that much because I didn't want to force her about telling me things I should know.

"I'm still against this idea, but this child is very persistent in convincing me to meet you Mr. Yamamoto," Mr. Patricio said. I just stared at the child. He just casually told me he has... A cancer?

"I'm going to make things short, are you single Mr. Yamamoto?" He asked again that made me lose words. Sinuway sya ni Mr. Patricio, I knew him. The guys that was with Rowena when someone sent Fabio some snaps of them.

"But Tito Dad, I'm in desperate need to find mum a boyfriend?" He complained. Our orders came and they didn't even bat an eye on it.

"You know what? Mapapagalitan tayong dalawa ng mommy mo pag nalaman n'ya ito," he complained as well. I scoughed and reminded them of my presence. The child noticed he won't be able to speak freely when he's around therefore he requested him to leave us alone for the meantime. He was hesitant but I made sure I will take care of the child. Wala rin naman s'yang magawa because he threatened him into telling his mom that Mr. Patricio agreed on this set up.

"Mr. Yamamoto... Uncle Koda, since you are mummy's childhood friend I do think you're a pretty good candidate to be her boyfriend. What do you think?" He asks again as if he's some kind of old man.

"Tell me first about yourself young man," I said. He's so much like her mother.

"Ok, I'm a cancer survivor and I consider this my second life. I am six years old, I grew up in Seattle. Tito Dad is also my doctor, Tito Pete is his boyfriend. They were mum's closest friend. I don't know my dad, but I want to experience having one so I'm making this offer," tuloy tuloy na saad n'ya. I just laughed at him.

"Excuse me Sir?" He said kaya tumikhim ako.

"How about you tell me how you know my mum? And what do you think of her?" He asks again. Napaisip naman ako ng isasagot sakanya. However, I don't think that's for me to share to him. I don't think it's right for him to know how precious his mom is for me... Knowing she's someone who sacrificed everything for him. It's better that he sees me as a reliable friend his mom will always have than someone who have... A long term unrequited love.

I just smiled at him. Even without telling me, just by mere looking at this child I can already confirm how much love she put in him. A strong love barrier no one except for him will be able to penetrate.

"Your mom and I are good friends. Therefore I don't think I will be a suitable candidate, perhaps you'd like to consider my recommendation young man?" I asked him. He scrunched his nose like how she does.

"I know the most suitable person for the position," I even added.

"Really Uncle Koda?" He asked and I nodded. I asked him na lumapit sa'kin para marinig n'ya ang ibubulong ko. I told him he doesn't have to worry at ako na ang bahala, and he just needs to wait. After meeting with Benjamin, I continued my work.
