It's been days since he stopped talking to me and pestering me. I admit I kinda miss it. However, it's frustrating how he easily changes his attitude. Para naman syang batang inagawan ng kendi sa sitwasyon na'to eh. Pero nagmamatigas din ako, I didn't apologize even if I was in the wrong, for suddenly showing up unannounced to their house. I just wanted to surprise him because he was always so down. Sobrang bigat ng pakiramdam ko that we were not in good terms, it made my fever worse na hindi ko nagawang pumasok and yet...

"Ms. Rowena oras na ng tutor nyo," the maid called me.

"Can you not tell my mother I'm not feeling well?" I asked her. She tried to but mom doesn't listen. Ever since nanay left I don't have anyone on my side anymore. Not even sister could intervene. I was just in eight grade at that time yet they already started to make me study about the corners of accounting. As if that wasn't enough, I don't have any time to enjoy ny teenage years anymore because mom enrolled me in different classes. While my acquaintances are enjoying themselves janging out together I was stuck in the study to try to understand things that are not suited for my age yet.

I felt like a doll mom and dad kept dressing up. I wasn't even their child to them, I was a mere doll with no voice nor right to refuse simply because parents knows best. Because they sheltered me, sent me to a good school, fed me, dressed me up...

"Wag mokong pagdahilanan Rowena. Get up, your tutor is waiting, I don't have time sa oag iinarte mo," Mom suddenly appeared on the door.

"Mommy... I really don't feel ok-"

Before I could finish she grabbed my wrist, ni hindi n'ya pinansin ang pag-aray ko dahil sobrang sensitive ng katawan ko. I was so vulnerable that I just wished my mom would see that I really can't even get up but instead she dragged me out.

"Stop embarrassing me Rowena, Wendel tignan mo nga itong anak mo! Ghosh I'm gonna be super late!" Mom complained. I had to drag my body to the chair after mom almost sent me flying inside the room. My tutor was worried but neither of us can complain, he needs the work, and I'm just my parent's child.

"Rose! Rose let's go we're late!"

I wanted to bid my parents goodbye, yet they didn't even bat an eye when I fell down dahil nanghihina ako.

"Pag uwi namin make sure nakaligo kana," that was the last thing I heard before I lost my consciousness. Pagmulat ng mga mata ko I was already in an unfamiliar room with my sister.

"Where's mommy and daddy?" I asked my sister. She just held my hands.

"They're still probably in the auction. I doubt they'll come here, you lost your consciousness nandoon pa sila and they didn't even insist to send you to the hospital at umalis pa rin. I'm sorry..." My sister cried explaining what happened. I just held her hands back.

"Mom and Dad might just be busy Ate. You need not to worry about me," maging ako ay hindi ko masabi ng maayos ang mga salitang iyon. Mom and Dad, no matter how busy they were, they always had time to have international vacations, go to different auctions, there were even times none of them will be home for a week and it wasn't because of work, but because they were spending time with their respective circles and yet they couldn't even spend a family day with us.
