"Yuh get cut fi real?" I laughed while staring at the phone.

Rajauny hissed his teeth from the other end of the line, he then got u and lifted his knee. There I could see a sizeable bruise turning extremely red.

"Mi rass, I'm so sorry love" I apologized sincerely, still trying to hold in my laughter.

Rajauny hissed his teeth before sitting back around his desk.

I smiled gingerly as I saw his annoyed face back in the frame of the camera.

"Yuh really vex wid mi fi dat?"

Another hiss sounded from Rajauny.

I laughed out at this, "yah gwan like one likkle baby".

"Yuh push mi through the window and chip up mi nice clean skin" He said looking me dead in the eyes.

"Okay girl we get it" I laughed.

I heard a distinctive sound of my name being called, immediately I hushed Rajauny and tried to listen if I was hearing right. And true to words my name was called once again.

"Somebody a call mi, I'ma call you back later" I answered getting up with the phone in my hand.

"Aii, I love you" Rajauny blew a kiss through the screen before hanging up.

Do dat and beat me!

Making my way down the stairs, I turn on the lights in the hallways as I go.

Mommy is working the night shift tonight and di sperm donor probably a fuck some other gyal, so I'm the only one home for the night.

Might be on a mi neighbor dem a come beg something or as fi mommy.

But the strangest thing of all, when I unlocked the front door, there was no one.

No one in the yard or outside the gate.

The house was surrounded by complete darkness and empty.

"Jordin"

I spin around as I hear my name being called again.

Mi know mi nah mad and mi know mi hear mi name.

I turn back into the house and grab the keys for the grill. Maybe somebody think mi neva deh a di front suh dem guh a di back door gone call.

That's the only plausible reason for hearing my name being called from the back.

Well, I could only assume it was from the back of the house because the voice sounded so distant. But it didn't sound like anyone I knew though.

I push my foot through the flip flops and I draw pull the grill open and connect my foot with the solid cement ground.

My yard wasn't big, but it was fairly spacious. A path of concrete and low grass surrounds the other sides of the concrete and goes straight to the back of the house.

The grass was low enough for me to be able to walk without it touching my skin, and I was grateful for that.

Through my confusion, I forgot one important thing.

Turning on the lights outside.

I hissed my teeth in frustration as the whole yard was pitch black, only the little light from the lampost illuminating it ever so softly.

"Jordin"

I looked up just as soon as I was able to turn on the flashlight on my iPhone.

"Who dat?" I question while flashing the light from side to side.
