|Date : June · 20th · 72| Y/N's Pov:

I sat on a bench outside, both Mrs. Afton and Michael next to me. I watched as Mike threw a colored plastic ball in front of him, Fetch chasing after it. It's been a couple days since I met Michael's family at his house, and ever since then I've been visiting him non-stop. Each day was the same. Ask mom or dad to walk Fetch, normally when dad gets home, and go hang out with Mike.

Mrs. Afton is really nice too. My parents would normally let me go walk Fetch on my own, but Shelly keeps her decision to come with me and Michael to supervise us to make sure we don't get taken by someone. I think it's called kidnapping, but I'm not sure. I also never knew if my parents letting me out alone was a good or bad thing. I always assumed it was fine.

As Fetch ran back with the ball, I took it out of his mouth and threw it farther into the park and watched the black dog follow it swiftly. "Mrs. Afton? Can I ask you something?" I asked, turning my head to her face, looking at the red glasses she always had on. It looked like she was reading what was probably the newspaper.

"Yes dear, you can ask me anything. You can call me Shelly, you know." Shelly raised her head to face me. "Do you think the kid's gonna be a boy or a girl?" I looked back at Fetch, who was currently laying down next to the bench. Shelly let out a small hum, thinking about a response. "Well, I personally think it's gonna be a girl, but either is alright with me. Either way, it's only one month since we found out. What about you two?"

"..A boy." Michael muttered out, looking down with a fixed gaze. "I don't really know. Maybe a boy." I responded, kicking my feet slowly. I wanted to say twins of both, but I felt like that was a little wild of a guess. I looked around out of boredom, until I saw a blonde boy on a high platform for a slide, sitting down on the edge alone. He looked about our age. I just hope he wasn't Daniel.

"Michael, Shelly look! There's someone over there, I wanna make friends with them!" I squealed, jumping out of the bench and pointing, probably making it obvious I know of his existence. Michael was started for a second, and got up to squint as an attempt to see the boy. Shelly stayed in her spot on the bench. "Can we make friends with him? Pretty please?" I begged, practically teleporting in front of the woman with puppy eyes.

Michael thought about it for a second. You had been very, very nice to him as his first friend. Maybe that boy will be the same. Soon enough, Michael got next to me with the same look I had. "I want a friend too! Please mom?" Shelly was practically about to tear up from the imaginary stars in our eyes.

"As long as your careful. Fetch will stay here, he probably fell asleep." Shelly laughed, looking at the canine on the floor. Me and Michael both cheered, jumping up and down before running towards the slides while holding each other's hands.

As we got up the stairs, we could see the boy's curly hair much more clearer. It was only a little while before we got up to his level, and Michael started to walk up to him. "Hi! How are you?" He said, sitting down next to him as I did the same next to Mike. The blonde boy raised his head, looking at us with interest.

"Oh, hey. I'm fine." He muttered, fidgeting with his hands. "I'm Michael, this is Y/N, who are you?" Mike giggled, clearly gaining a little more confidence than he did before. I waved my hand when the boy looked at me. "Jeremy. Thanks for talking to me by the way." Jeremy looked at us, smiling with his light blue eyes.

As the sun nearly began to set, Jeremy and Michael were behind me while I was in front of the tallest slide. "Are you sure it'll be safe to sit on top of the slide? It looks dangerous."Michael suggested the idea of it being as such, looking at the side. I looked back to see his face, thinking he was joking but I noticed he was looking down at the grass. "Afraid of heights?" I asked, tilting my head. Michael nodded hastily, trying not to look down by keeping his eyes closed.
