I looked up at my Dad, buying 8 tickets at the counter. He put them in his pocket as I looked around. He took me to some place where we could buy flowers for Shelly. He said Henry called him when William told him the news. Dad said it would be a good idea to take the kids out to pick flowers at the store event.
Sadly, Elizabeth was suspected of having a flower allergy so she couldn't come, and William was just out of it. At least, that's what I always assumed. But Mike called me on the house phone and told me his little brother was born! He sounded disappointed, but I don't think it's about Evan. He told me Elizabeth's been really distant from him since he wanted Shelly to have Evan. I just hope it gets better soon.
"Okay, who's coming again, Y/N?" My Dad said, looking at the tickets like a deck of cards. "Mike, Taylor, Jeremy, Mom, Henry, You, and me." I counted on my fingers. That was 7, but Dad bought 8 tickets. He gave a few quick blinks at me, before perking up. I tilted my head as I put my hands down.
He was silent for a while as I waited for a response. "Shoot, I bought 8 tickets. Hey, maybe someone else would want to come!" He gave a warm smile. I couldn't help but smile back as we walked outside.

I watched as my Mother cut some oranges. She's been trying to better herself recently, but she keeps having mood swings towards me. Maybe it's just apart of the process. I wanna tell someone that she's done bad things, but they'll put the blame on my Dad.
I went up to the counter's phone and dialed a number, hearing it ring as I put it to my ear. I waited for someone to talk.
"Hello, this is Henry. Who's this?" Henry spoke through the phone. I heard him take a sip out of something, probably coffee. "Mr. Emily, hello!" I giggled, the sounds of him drinking the coffee immediately stopping. "Y/N, little one! How are you?"
If I wanted a second parent instead of my Mother, I'd probably choose Henry.
"I'm good! Can I come over for a second? Please?" I begged, hearing Henry sigh dramatically. "Well alright then." I smiled widely, thanking him through the phone. I quickly ran up the stairs and knocked on my parents' door. "Come on, Henry said we can come over for the tickets!" I cheered, sprinting back down the stairs as if I was on a sugar high.
I watched as my Dad followed shortly after. Hopefully this week will be a good week this time.

I knocked on Henry's door, the glass having floral patterns on it. It only took a little while before he went to the other side, opening it. I looked up at him and his honey blonde bangs. "Oh, hey there!" He patted my head as a lady came in the doorway.
"Oh Hen, who's this little one?" She squealed, giggling at me. She had long and curly black hair and deep brown eyes that matched her tan skin. I noticed she had some sort of jade bangle on her wrist. "This is Y/N, one of my friend's kid." He gave a warm smile.
I raised an eyebrow at the woman. "Who is this?" I questioned, squinting at her and trying to keep eye contact. "This is Fleur, we've been seeing eachother for a while." Henry peeped, Fleur holding him close. Is she taller or is Henry shorter? I pulled the ticket out of my pocket and gave it to Fleur, her eyes lighting up immediately.
"Aww, that's so sweet of you! What is it?" She questioned, turning the pink ticket around. Henry looked at it, reading the price. "It's an event to this flower shop where we can pick as many flowers as we want.. For surprisingly $5.99." He read out, Fleur taking the ticket and singing. Henry let out a sigh of pleasure as he watched her skip to a room.
