A month later and I was ready for the exam,

“Oto-san! Can I see Sasuke yet?” I whined, he chuckled at my impatience,

“Don’t worry, you’ll see him soon.” I frowned at him,

“But I miss him… a lot…” I murmured quietly, too embarrassed to speak any louder. He sighed,

“I know, he’s been missing you too.” I smiled slightly,

“Really?” Kakashi nodded,

“Sometimes he finds it hard to concentrate and it’s just plain obvious he’s thinking about you.” I grinned and looked out the window,

“So when will I see him?” I asked,

“At the exam. We might be a little late though...” I sighed and nodded,

“I’ll get ready then.” I calmly walked off into my room,

“Random…” I heard Kakashi mutter. I snickered and quickly got ready, admiring my newly obtained katana’s for a few seconds in the process.

“I’m ready Oto-san!” I called as I ran out of my room, I had my mask pulled up so I looked a lot like Kakashi, he seemed to realize this and chuckled,

“Alright. I’m going to find Sasuke. You can start heading to the arena.” I nodded,

“Ja ne Oto-san.” I gave him a quick hug and then ran out of the house, “Full speed ahead!” I yelled as I made a mad dash towards the large stadium like building,

“Hm? Ayame?” I heard someone ask; I turned towards the source of the voice and smiled at the blond headed boy,

“Naruto! I’ve seen you in ages!” I exclaimed as I gave him a friendly hug. He gave a cheesy grin and hugged me back happily,

“Who’ve you been training with?” He asked as we started to head towards the exam. I let out a wearly sigh,

“I’ve been training with Guy sensei, Kurenai sensei and Oto-san!” I exclaimed, “Oto-san couldn’t train me full time because he’s also training Sasuke.” Naruto pursed his lips and crossed his arms,

“Why does he get all the attention? We need some training from our own sensei, not some random ninja!” He complained angrily, I just giggled,

“You know Naruto, maybe Kaka sensei thinks that you’re already super strong and he can’t teach you anymore, whereas Sasuke could use some work.” Naruto stopped in his tracks and blinked,

“I’ve never thought of that…” I rolled my eyes but kept smiling,

“So who did you train with Naru-kun?” I asked, as soon as I asked his pursed lips returned,

“At first I had this pervy teacher who’s weaker than me!” He exclaimed as he started walking once more, I sighed but let him continue, “But then we were at the hot springs and-“

“You… went to the…uh.. hot springs?” I asked with a raised eye brow, Naruto nodded vigorously,

“Mhm, to learn to walk on water! Did you know that it’s possible!?” He exclaimed with a grin, I giggled and nodded,

“I knew it was possible but I haven’t quite mastered it yet.” Naruto put his hands behind his head proudly,
