The peaceful sounds of the ocean resonate through the speakers of an old computer, its desktop showing a bright and sunny beach, a stark contrast to the office setting it's in. The room's humming florescent lights soon turn off, plunging the cubicles into near pitch blackness while a distorted song plays over the speakers in the ceiling. As the music continues, a worker drone hides under the desk supporting the computer monitor, her panicked breathing slightly muffled by the unnerving ambiance.

Carefully coming out from under her hiding spot, she peaks out from the cubicle and sees another worker drone, seemingly paralyzed as he lies on the floor in a position that looks like something caught him off guard; the only sign of movement coming from him is a buffering icon on his visor. Looking around carefully, the still-operational robot crawls to the other and begins pulling him back, but she halts upon hearing footsteps and a mechanical bird-like call. Turning her head towards the source, she catches a glimpse of a tail exiting her field of view, followed by a flash of light, causing her to avert her gaze.

She quickly pulls the worker drone back to her hiding spot, but before she can bring him in with her, another flash occurs followed by two creatures grabbing her companion and ripping him in half. As she hides behind the partition wall and tries to control her breathing, another blue light begins rising over the cubicle. Trying to escape, she throws a hand in front of her face, but the flash freezes her as she begins buffering, allowing the thing to enter and attack.

Whilst a security camera catches the oil getting splattered across the walls and floor, a ventilation panel is pulled into the ceiling, revealing a red light which abruptly vanishes. Suddenly, the camera's video is engulfed by light as the creature in the room lets out a scream that slowly breaks down into a static warble, before finally going silent.

======================================

As this scene is happening, elsewhere on the planet, Uzi, N, V, (Y/N), Kira, J, Doll, and Tessa all stare at each other, unsure of what to make of this encounter; after a while, N is the first to break the silence, "Tessa?" This acknowledgment of her presence seems to snap the human out of her daze as she rushes to him and holds his head just like when she was young, "N! You remember!" Suddenly she lets go and doubles over while coughing, "Tall, handsome. Air's toxic." As she recovers, the young woman notices Uzi approaching, not paying attention to the machine's clear signs of aggression, "Who's this little-"

Suddenly, Uzi bites Tessa's outstretched finger, making her scream as she rears back in pain while the android, showing no signs of regret for her action, starts angrily speaking, "Uzi! Why are you here human?!" Looking to the side, the worker drone notices J, fueling her frustration even further, "Real tired of killing this one."

Snorting in agreement, (Y/N) glares at J before speaking up, "You just don't know when to stay down do you?" Taking joy in their annoyance, the murder drone is quick to reply in a snarky manner, "Effective drones were cloned more." The ravager drone's eyes peel at her words before a smirk appears on his face, "If you're so effective, then why did I completely trounce you in our showdown?"

While the ravager and murder drones continue throwing insults at one another, Tessa answers Uzi's question, though her phrasing makes it seem as if it's directed to N and V, "Cyn's disappeared from Earth-" Before she can continue, J interrupts, seemingly having a different account for the reason they're here, "Boss ran away." Ashamed of this, the human immediately rephrases the disassembly drone's words, "We mutually disengaged. Her last known act was sicking you lot on the human exoplanets."

This explanation only arises more questions, and N is the one to ask what everyone is thinking, "Why?" As J gets closer, she replies in an annoyed and sarcastic tone, "That's what we're trying to figure out, bozos."
