Behind Blood Red Eyes (Murder Drones x male reader)

Episode 1: PILOT Part 4

A crash is heard as the door to the colony's evacuation area is ripped open by J and V, their actions sending Thad sprawling across the floor, while, Khan in the back tries thinking of a plan, with little success, "So, they found our evacuation spot, but, if we build a quick door-" His out loud thinking is interrupted as Thad gets up, grabs a pipe and turns to look at him, "Are you kidding me? You're the WDF, right? Defend!" However, instead of defending the worker drones, the members of the WDF back away, clearly having no idea what to do, "For real?"

With Thad's back turned, V stabs him with a wing before slamming him to the ground, then picks him up again so she can look him in the eyes; however, before she can finish him off, a "Hey!" catches everyone's attention. As everyone looks over to where the voice came from, they see Uzi and N standing at the doorway, "Put that conventionally attractive male down!" As Uzi finishes, she glances over to N who is just smiling and waving, though she quickly puts a stop to this by elbowing his arm, reminding him of the situation, "Oh, uh, J, you're sometimes kind of mean to me and I wish you weren't. Just some constructive criticism." Uzi and N then fist-bump with the former adding "Nice" to the latter's performance.

The other murder drones fully turn around to face them. V tosses Thad aside while J addresses them, "Noted, traitor. We'll circle back once I right-size your existence." Uzi then turns to N, "Ok, which one do you want?" Hearing this, N immediately responds, "J please." Unfortunately for him, it's a trick question, "Too bad. Good luck." Ending her sentence, Uzi grabs the pen J had given N and throws it back at the original owner, the object lodging itself into J's center light, causing her to scream out in pain as a yellow fluid gushes from the injury. As Uzi takes off running, N looks at V before doing a "You, me, we cool right?" gesture, but he doesn't get the answer he's hoping for as V's visor displays an X while she changes her hands into swords, slashing the ground with them before rushing straight for him.

On the other side of the room, Uzi aims her railgun at J, but before she can get a clear shot, the disassembly drone turns an arm into an assault rifle and starts blindly shooting while still trying to pull the pen out. As Uzi's aim is knocked off course, the robot finally rips the pen out while yelling, "Damn the well-made quality, assured durability of JC Jenson products! Hun?" Before J has the chance to react, Uzi performs a leaping flip before kicking the disassembly drone's hand, forcing the pen into J's visor. Then she jumps off her opponent's head and lands in such a way that her railgun flips into her hands, though she soon finds herself ducking as a stray laser shot out by V narrowly misses her.

Unfortunately for N, he's not having as much luck in his fight, as he is launched into a pillar and forced to duck under another laser. Seeing V switch to a rocket launcher, N turns an arm into a laser cutter, but as he shoots, all that comes out are hearts, causing him to become flustered, "Ahhh! My mind's in a weird place! Don't read into this!" As N says this, a missile lands next to him and detonates.

As the explosion sends rubble to the other side of the room, J pulls out the pen from her visor before crushing it and glaring at Uzi while charging an EMP up and firing, the pulse momentarily knocks the worker drone offline. As J's visor fixes itself, she begins walking over to the defenseless Uzi, ready to finish her off; however, this doesn't go unnoticed as N sees this while clashing swords with V in the air, "Uzi!" Knowing he has to do something, N does the only thing he can think of before turning to V, "I'm so, so sorry. Have fun repressing this." After prematurely apologizing to V, N proceeds to lick her which causes her to disengage in disgust, "Ew, what the hell?!" Before V can react, N kicks her into the ground, creating a small crater.

Back on the ground, J kicks away Uzi's railgun before gloating over the incapacitated worker drone, "You've got a lot of guts for a barely sentient toaster. I've had prey fight back before, but your edgy spirit is just so-" Before she can finish her monologue, a shard of metal smashes into her visor causing her to scream in pain and frustration, "Why does this keep happening?!"
