Behind Blood Red Eyes (Murder Drones x male reader)

Episode 2 : Heartbeat Part 1

"We've got to curb her trips to the dump." A crack of thunder illuminates the area, revealing a mansion populated with multiple humans, all of which are completely blacked out except for their eyes, and a worker drone in a butler's outfit that bears a striking resemblance to N. As the robot stands there, the human in front of him, presumably the owner of the mansion, continues to seemingly speak to himself, "And where's she getting the hair to play dress-up with them? I swear, she's been spending too much time with her uncle; creepy." Upon finishing his thoughts, the human tosses his glass into the air. The drone catches it with his serving tray, but this action causes the other empty glasses to fall. Before any of them can smash to the ground, the machine catches every one of the glassware as they pile into a pyramid on the tray, all the while bowing to the human in the process.

The worker drone proceeds to walk hurriedly away while the storm outside continues raging on. As he keeps moving through the mansion, the machine momentarily stops to look out a window at the downpour. Outside, a bolt of lightning strikes a lightning rod, and the electricity runs down a wire leading into the nearby marshlands. Continuing on his way, he runs into another worker drone with white hair who's wearing glasses and a maid outfit. The collision forces both of them to the ground. "Oh, ah, I'm sorry-" The first begins apologizing, but the second is quick to respond, "It's ok, I wasn't looking." As the two pick up the dishes, a spark jumps between each other's fingers, causing them to pull their hands back and look at one another with shy and flustered expressions.

Before either one can break the silence, the male is kicked down by another worker drone who resembles J in both looks and personality, "Move it moro-" But before she can finish her sentence, she cuts herself off, noticing a human entering and immediately changes her demeanor, "Hi Tessa." However, her fake happiness quickly turns to annoyance and disappointment as she sees what's behind Tessa, "Oh no. Another one?" Upon saying this, a fourth, slightly shorter worker drone with long, white hair and yellow eyes peaks out from behind the human, a foreboding aura surrounding the newcomer.

N suddenly wakes up from his dream before falling from the spot he had been hanging upside-down from, landing hard on the snow-covered ground. Sitting up, he changes his left hand into claws and watches them worriedly before hearing Uzi call out to him, "N! Found something in here!"

Inside the pod, Uzi examines a badge in her hand before looking at her reflection in a mirror. Moving her hair up slightly, her right optic changes to the same symbol that had previously appeared: a hexagon with three arrows pointing away from it, one at its top, and two flanking the bottom-most point. As soon as it appears, the mirror inexplicably cracks, worrying the worker drone as her eye returns to normal. Behind Uzi, V, who is blowing bubbles out of sheer boredom, turns her chair around and speaks up, "That's weird and concerning."

Unamused by V's comment, Uzi is quick to blame the murder drone for her current state, "Bite me! This is probably you weirdos' fault!" As the worker drone points at V, she replies in an unperturbed way, "I've never seen that symbol before." She then proceeds to give a maniacal smile before continuing, "Wanna do an autopsy to find out? Ouch!" The disassembly drone glares at (Y/N), his tail having smacked her in the head, "Would you get your body under control!"

"Hey! I wasn't activated with these on me! I'm still trying to figure out how to move each part individually!" Finishing his sentence, (Y/N) attempts to pop a bubble with a wing finger, but instead, the entire limb shoots out and slams into a wall. With an embarrassed look, he pulls the wing back to look at the other machines, "I'm finding it hard to believe I took J down in this form; I can barely control what direction I want these to go in!"

Just then, N enters the pod, "What'd you find?" Standing on a box, Uzi slaps N's hat on his head, "Did you know that was a pilot hat?" The worker drone proceeds to kick the item out from under herself while the murder drone begins exclaiming in excitement, "I was the pilot!? That's aweso- 'I crashed and ruined everything.' Spaceship pilot. Origin story." This seems to annoy V as she hisses at him before immediately going back to blowing bubbles while (Y/N) gives her a weirded-out look, "There's something seriously wrong with her." This comment earns him a hiss of his own, the action causing him to retaliate with a low growl.
