10.

I will send out an army to find you
In the middle of the darkest night
It's true, I will rescue you
(Lauren Daigle-Rescue)

The house was burning, all wrapped in flames and smoke. The team was trying to understand how to approach the fire and save the people who eventually were there.

"Warren will help with the triage, Ruiz and Montgomery on the roof!" Beckett ordered. "Herrera, Bishop, Sullivan and Hughes, I want you inside! I don't know for how long we will be able to get the fire under control, so you need to be as fast as possible and bring everyone outside!". The team obeyed and they entered the hold. The situation was clearly serious. Everything was really old and shabby and there was trash everywhere that was burning, causing the air to be even more unbreathable.

"There should be nine civilians inside, they are all about twenty years old." Beckett informed the team.

"Copy, captain!" Andy replied. "Sullivan, Hughes, stay downstairs, Bishop and I will go upstairs. Let's go.". Maya followed Andy upstairs. They were climbing the stairs, when part of the ceiling fell down, causing them to jerk.

"Fuck!" Andy cussed. "Okay, be careful.". They carefully kept climbing the stairs and arrived at the first floor. There were mattresses and wires everywhere and that meant that they had to act faster, before everything burned. They used their fire extinguisher as long as they could, while looking for eventual victims.

"Hughes, how are you doing?" Andy asked by radio.

"We found two people in the kitchen. We are bringing them outside." the man explained.

"There are other six people in the living room. We are helping them out, Lieutenant." Sullivan added.

"Good job, guys." Andy said. She focused on the scene again and with Maya roamed around the floor, room by room.

"It would be Beckett's job to check on the team." the blonde told her, before entering into a room that, luckily, was empty.

"Not now, Maya." Andy replied. "Seattle Fire Department! Is there anyone here?". No reply. The two women sighed and kept searching. Andy turned checking on Maya. Despite her wearing the mask, she could clearly see that she was worried for something.

"She isn't here, Maya." she reassured her, realizing that her friend was concerned about Keira being there.

"She has a backpack like this." the blonde said, pointing at a blue backpack next to one of the mattresses. Andy laid a hand on her best friend's shoulder, forcing her to turn to her. She mentally insulted Beckett. Maya needed some days off, it was more than evident. She wasn't thinking straight and everything reminded her of Raphael and Keira.

"It's a pretty common backpack." Andy stated. Maya nodded, not fully convinced by those words, and entered another room. There was no one, again.

"Captain, are you sure there were nine people here?" Andy asked Beckett by radio.

"I'm not an idiot, Herrera. Yes, nine civilians." the man answered, rude. "And Herrera, hurry up, I don't know for how long we can control the fire.".

"Copy." Andy responded. She and Maya went back to work. There were only two rooms left. They went inside the first one. "Seattle Fire Department! We're here to help!" Maya announced. "Maybe they're downstairs and the others didn't noticed them." she assumed.

"Yeah, maybe. But let's keep searching.". They were about to leave the room, when they heard a whimper coming from behind a wardrobe. They glanced at each other and immediately rushed to it. A boy who was about eighteen years old was all crushed against the wall, shaking as a leaf.
