Without wasting any time, I started looking for Aiden's laptop as soon as I entered his room.
His room was super clean!
I checked everywhere, on the side of the bed in the cupboard around the sofas, but it wasn't anywhere!
" Is there a camera in his room?" I asked Ezar.
"Nope! There isn't a camera in or around his room. And the ones in the hallway are already under my control" he said proudly.
I searched all around in his room for a solid five minutes but all went in vain.
" Stop! Someone is coming!" Ezar alerted me.
I hid in my tracks and went straight into the walk-in closet.
" Any idea who is outside?" I asked.
"Not sure can't recognize him in the mask! Just stay there for a couple of moments" he suggested.
I listen to him but always do it on my own.
I tried to search in the walk-in closet.
Aiden's clothes were all lined up neatly on the display.
I checked the drawers and cupboard but still couldn't find his laptop!
" Stop making noises!" Ezar shouted on the earpiece.
"Okay! Boss!" I tried to ignore him.
Suddenly I stopped in front of a big wardrobe door.
I tried to open it but it was locked and a passcode was required!
"Who needs to lock his clothes with a password" I whispered to myself.
" Ezar can you unlock it!" I said.
" Let me see" I could hear him typing something.
" It will take some time! Ace would have done it in a blink of her eyes...oh" he realized what he said.
"Ace would not even wait for me to ask" A sad laugh escaped from my chest.
" It's open!" Ezar said breaking a two-minute-long silence oath.
I opened the door and as expected it was a secret room!
"Check for the cameras!" I told Ezar while I hurriedly grabbed the laptop lying in the middle of the room.
"Already on it!" He said.
I opened the laptop and broke into its firewall without creating any suspicion as Jennet taught.
All those years while working in our secret society she told me how to play with the computer and its programs but I didn't care about the tech work, as she was always there...
" What is your plan with the laptop?" Ezar asked.
I realized I hadn't told him anything about my plans.
" The file Ace made is still there on the internet! It wasn't destroyed that night" I started explaining to him.
" What!" He exclaimed.
" Aiden is after that file and I'm sure so are the other underground mafias.."
I have logged into the laptop's software searching for the best place to leave a love Letter to Aiden!
From Grey!
" How couldn't anyone find it till now?" Ezar's concern was obvious but Jennet, my Ace is the world's best hacker...was...
" Jennet installs her software into its security system. She was working on that goddamn software for years" I smiled sadly.
"The file is always on the internet, sharing its location but due to her software it is set to change its location every four minutes to random places. But if you put a particular code, the file will reflect its location only for four minutes, and in that four minutes if you put another set of code into it you will be able to track its IP address and its real location. That's how it works.
She created this software in case the file is lost. Only she and I knew the codes."
I explained to him while writing the codes.
"Now all I have to do is somehow send this information and code to Terry. I don't have time to find the file as right now my priority is Dimitry and his big shipment"
"I'm too gathering information about that big shipment," Ezar said.
"This shipment can change his whole fucking life!"
" Send me the further details, I don't know if Aiden is going to share more information on that or not!" I told him.
" I'll text you" he replied.
I want to catch Dmitry as well as save the girls, that he is going to sell like objects to earn money.
I will not let that happen as long as I'm alive.
"Someone is roaming in the hall!" He alerted.
" Just a few moments more" I have almost written the codes and secured it so that only Terry could open it.
"I could not see his face but he looks suspicious!"
" Almost done!"
Just one click!
Yes! It's done.
I quickly logged out and shut the laptop.
"Done!" I said on the earpiece.
No response...
" Hello?" I tried to adjust the earpiece but no the sign was lost!
Shit!
What should I do?
I don't know if the person was outside or not!
Damn it!
"It's better to stay in this room and try to find a signal!" I said to myself.
I looked around in the room, it had some advanced weapons all intact in a glass showcase with passcodes on them!
Suddenly my eyes settle on a wall covered with a curtain.
Why Does a wall need a curtain?
I carefully walked towards it...
And slowly removed the curtains.
No!
My eyes widened...
The whole wall was covered with pictures...
Of crime scene
Murders..
Victims with slitted throats were brutally torched...
By me!
Just one name written in the middle
GREY!
All the assassinations, all the murders, the tortures I did was displayed on the wall like a fucking wallart!
"Hello, can you hear me!" EZAR shouted on the earpiece.
"Ye..yeah!" I tried to say something but I was struck hard by all those memories.
In those four years, every crime I committed was right in front of me!
" Some was here! Then the signal was lost...." Ezar said something but I just couldn't hear it.
"He is not after that file!" I managed to speak...
"What!?"
"He.. Aiden is not after the file...he is after...is after grey! Fuck he is after me!" I finished.
" What are you talking Hazel!?" Ezar asked worriedly.
" All the sins I committed are right in front of me Ezar!" I could feel the tears rolling down my cheek.
" No! Wait.. we'll talk about it later but get your ass out of that goddamn room!! Someone is coming....." Ezar said hurriedly but but before he could say further.
I hear the beep sound.
someone opened the door!
