"You were right!" Terry exclaimed.
"Our security system was breached last night. The spy cams, the smart lock of the secret room everything was hacked and it was-"
"Ace!" I cut him off.
"They are alive, Grey and Ace both," he said.
"Hopefully"
I still don't believe if they are alive or not.
But if they are then why did they ghosted for a whole goddamn year?
Why did Grey give us the codes?
Is it all real or a trap set by Dmitry?
All these questions are messing with my brain.
"Don't trust anyone Aiden"
My uncle's words rang into my ears.

"Did you find out about Michael?" I asked Terry.
"Yes I did but it's bad," he said.
"What happened?"
"He was brutally murdered last night" he announced and switched on the news headlines.
"Michael Ross, the infamous drug lord was murdered last night. He was brutally tortured and then burnt alive as per the police report" The news anchor said"
"Who the hell did this?" I tried to control my anger.
He was my prey!
He ditched us three years ago. We sent him to spy on Grey and Dmitry but he turned on us and joined hands with them.
He thought they could save him from me.
We found him last year and contacted him before coming to LA.
We were going to catch him but now he's dead!
"No one knows yet" Terry brought me back to the present.
"After the day we called him to make a deal, I kept a close eye on him so that he can't ditch us again but that motherfucker got a lot of enemies on his back. That's why he was killed as soon as he landed in LA"
"Do you think it was Grey?" I enquired.
"Not it wasn't him, I think. This is not his style. Someone did it out of revenge. I have seen the crime scene pictures. They were brutal" he tried to hide the disgusted look on his face but failed.
"I'm still working on finding the footage of the cameras of the warehouse he was killed in" he concluded.
"Work on that quick. We need to find this new enemy"
"Copy that! But what are we going to do today? You said we were going to get the file but now you only want girls to confirm it, why?"
"You know file was never important to us. The only way we can get our revenge on Dmitry is by destroying him completely as he did to my father and only one person can do that. Grey! If he can create him then he can also destroy him" I explained.
"Here's our plan" I continued.
"I trust Grey's code. The file is true;y there. If he sent us the code then he wants-"
"Us to get the file" Terry completed.
"Exactly!"
"You think once we get the file Grey will come and take it from us?" he asked.
