HAZEL GREY

Walking through the dark corridor, I felt the tears rolling down my cheeks.

"No!"

"No, please! I can't be weak now. Not right now!"

I stumbled onto my steps.

It was getting difficult to lift the feet now.

Damn, I couldn't even hold the gun.

My hands were shaking.

My heart was beating.

Hard.

I wasn't able to breathe!

No matter how many times I say, I have become heartless, that stupid thing inside me reminds me of his existence.

Every Fucking time!

And it sucks!

It fucking sucks to be pathetic!

It sucks to lie!

I lied to Aiden.

I lied to Sofie.

I lied to Jennet, Ezar, Sir.

I lied to myself!

My whole life I've been lying.

Lying that this all will be over one day.

Lying that I will save them.

Lying that I'm fine.

I'M NOT FINE!

"I'm not fine!" I wanted to scream.

But the voices refused to come out.

I was angry

On myself!

I pulled out all the cameras and microphones off me!

"You are a monster" the same old voices shouted.

"You should have died with your mom!"

I threw off the table beside me.

I knocked off everything I could see, to calm the storm inside me.

But it didn't help, rather it grew, it was destroying me from within.

It wasn't a storm due to my anger.

It was a storm of regret.

"This is not a time to repent Hazel Grey Evans!" I heard Janet's voice.

"Get your shit up, Grey! They need you!" she shouted.

A devastating image of Sofie, Jennet, and other girls emerged in front of my eyes and I came back to my senses.

"Get up grey," they said.

I got off and wiped off my tears with my bruised knuckles.

"It's not you!" she said.

"It's him!" I shouted.

"He will pay for everything he did to you and me, and I will fucking make sure of it!"

I took out the phone which I stole from one of the guards we knocked off and dialed Ezar.

"I need your help in the old mansion," I said as soon as he picked it up.

"What! Why are you there in the mansion?" he was shocked but there was no time to explain everything so I said instead.

"The girls...they never made it out of her"

"What!" he exclaimed, but I ignored him.

"They are here in the mansion and so is the file. I need your men dressed up in black, with the red scarf like Aiden's men. Help him. I'm going after the file" I explained everything i could in short.
