Hazel Grey

"Keys?" I shouted towards Ezar who was walking towards me and his car.

Then he threw the keys towards me and in a swift motion caught it. Then without any further talks, I walked past him, straight to Aiden's car.

I revived the engine of Aiden's car.

I felt sorry for destroying it but right now I have to do it.

Maybe it could silence the rage burning through my veins.

I gripped the steering wheel with hands bathed in blood. My hold was so tight that I could see my knuckles turn white.

"Be careful grey!" I could hear Ezar shouting but he knew it was of no use.

I hit the top gear and just when it felt right I released the brakes.

In a couple of seconds, the car collided with the tree destroying the front.

The glass shattered and the pieces flew towards me. Smoke was coming out of the engine.

Then my door swung open and Ezar pulled me out.

I was coughing but the smile never left my lips.

I lay on my back right on the ground.

"Are you okay?" he tried to pick me but I refused.

"I'm good" I managed to say.

"You are crazy!" he scolded me.

"Tell me something I don't know.

"Did you kill him?" he asked

"What do you think I did two hours there?"

"I enjoyed killing him! I wished I had a little more time!" I shouted towards the sky.

"Forget everything! Now tell me why in the whole of Los Angeles, you decided to come here, in an old fucking cemetery?" I asked.

My plan for tonight worked like fire.

When Aiden was busy with Terry and Dmitry, I took my shot and messaged him that I was going to see my old friend, which was not a lie.

I went to kill my old friend.

The sixth demon I sent back to hell.

I told Ezar to follow me in his car while I drove Aiden's.

I knew Aiden doubted me so to clear his doubts I took his car, whose key I stole when we were dancing, so that he could track me.

Or I should say he tracked Ezar.

Ezar and I switched the cars at the traffic light.

I told him to go to a safe place, and he came to an old cemetery!

"Tell me is this place you feel safe, Ezzy?" I laughed.

But his expressions were sad.

I felt something different so I got up.

"Tell me why you came here, Ezar?" I asked him in a serious tone.

"This place felt genuine..." he was lacking words, I could feel it.

He never lacked words.

"What happened, Ezar?" I demanded an answer this time.

He took a deep breath.

"After I sent you back to Boston...I went back to the warehouse..." he said.

"And...?"

"The place was burnt to ashes...everything turned to ashes. Smoke was everywhere. I searched...for Jennet" he signed.
