"So, now the training begins," Kakashi announced, leading us to a small, empty field, with trees surrounding us, in a circular area just near the village.

Naturally, Naruto replied, "Yes, Sensei!"

"Before that, let me again explain the basics of chakra power for a ninja," Kakashi continued.

"At this point." Sasuke mumbled as Naruto spoke.

"Of course, we know about that! Chatora, right?" Naruto said, pointing his finger up, eager.

"I'm pretty sure it's 'chakra' instead, Naruto," I corrected him, and he let his lips part in realization.

"Thanks, Misaki," Naruto huffed, looking confused but I knew

"Chakra is the energy that a ninja needs when using Jutsu. It is made from two kinds of energy: physical energy, which seems to be acquired from each cell in the body, and spiritual energy, which seems to be acquired from experiencing training and life," I tried to explain, but Naruto's expression still seemed puzzled at this point, so Sakura let out an annoyed sigh.

"That's all, really, Naruto," Sakura butted in, sounding really exasperated. "Yeah, Naruto, just think about it as squeezing out those two energies in your body and mixing them up. That's Chakra. Then, you use Chakra by making hand signs."

"Good! That's just nice, you two," Kakashi commended, nodding approvingly. "Iruka-sensei really does have some outstanding students in this class."

"Whatever! I might not understand complicated explanations, but I'll learn by doing!" Naruto exclaimed that caught us all off guard. Even Sasuke chimed in to the same regard.

Kakashi announced, "No! All of you still haven't used chakra efficiently."

"What?!" Naruto gasped in disbelief, drawing a weird look from Sasuke.

"Hold on and listen," Kakashi continued. "Well- As Misaki and Sakura explained earlier, Chakra joining means- The collection of not only physical and spiritual energies but also mixing them together among the body. And definitely, the amount of each energy, and the preparation of the energy changes based on the Jutsu that you wish to activate. You are, at the minute, not using the Chakra properly. Even if you are able to continue mixing a large amount of Chakra, then you cannot control it in proportional amounts. The effectiveness of the Jutsu is not only halved, but it might not even actuate. It will not let you last through long battles. These are some of the weaknesses that can arise in wasting energy."

"What should we do?" Naruto asked bashfully, rubbing the back of his head.

"You need to learn to control the Chakra within your body. It's difficult training that requires you to put your life on the line to master it!" Kakashi responded.

We all had blank, fearful looks on our faces, but I had to think that Kakashi was exaggerating by just a bit.

"What will we do?" asked Sakura.

"Tree climbing," Kakashi shot back.

"Tree climbing?" the four of us echoed the words all at the same time, a bit flabbergasted at how simple the assignment sounded. I knew Kakashi was just downplaying it, of course; our lives wouldn't be on just by climbing trees.

"Yup," Kakashi just says and then he continues. "But it's not just simple tree-climbing! You will climb without using your hands."

"What? How?" Sakura murmured and in the corner of my eye, I saw Naruto's face turn blank.
