Bucky sighed as he sat down on the couch in the tower's living room. It was past 2 am and he couldn't sleep. You were out again and it bothered him. Of course it did. Hell, he'd had a crush on you since he met you. Yet, you couldn't see it, or you didn't care. He hardly saw you anymore.

He must've dosed off because someone in the kitchen woke him up.

"Y/n? What are you doing up?" Bucky asked.

"What's it look like?" You replied.

"Can't sleep?" He asked.

You shook your head.

"You looked comfortable. Sorry to wake you." You said.

"It's okay. I don't sleep much anyways." He said.

You nodded and made a pot of coffee.

"Want some?" You asked.

"Sure, that'd be great." Bucky replied.

You nodded once more and poured two mugs.

"You alright?" He asked.

He heard you sigh and stood up.

"You know you can tell me anything and I wouldn't judge you, right?" He asked.

"Yeah, I know." You replied.

"Then what's up?" He asked.

"I guess I thought I mattered to this guy, but I can't seem to get through to him." You said.

Bucky tensed. Jealousy coursed through his veins though he tried to control it.

"Who?" He asked.

"It doesn't matter." You said.

"It does if they hurt you. Who is it?" Bucky asked.

"You, you dumbass!" You whisper-shouted.

Bucky's eyes widened. He began to laugh, only adding to your anger.

"Fuck you, Barnes." You said, walking off.

"Wait, that's not why I'm laughing. I can't believe you like me too." Bucky said.

"You like me?" You asked, turning to face him.

Bucky's heart dropped when he saw tears in your eyes. He rushed over and wrapped his arms around you, holding you as close to him as possible.

"Oh my god, I didn't mean for that to make you cry. Doll, I'm in love with you. I thought you couldn't see it so I backed off." Bucky said.

"God, we're such idiots." You laughed.

Bucky smiled and held you.

"Can I stay with you?" You said.

"You don't have to ask." Bucky replied.

Bucky swooped you up, earning laughter from your end.

"Bucky," You giggled.

"Shh, the others wouldn't leave us alone if they knew we finally got together." Bucky said.

"Fair." You replied.

"Wait, you talk about me?" You asked.

"Of course. How else was I supposed to deal?" He asked.

"Well, you have me now." You said.

He opened his door, kicking it shut behind him and gently set you on the bed.

"Are you going to sleep?" You ask, as he turns on the lamp.

"Can't, will you?" He asked.

You shook your head.
