His hand rests on the small of my back, guiding us through the blinding flashes from cameras. All I want to do right now is lie in my bed and get sick on ice cream, but when you're in the spot light, you don't get many choices.
"Stay close to me." I say, looking up at him. "I don't know anyone here."
He smirks and nods. "Don't worry, I don't either."
I sigh as we enter the mansion, the gigantic house already crowded with people. I recognize plenty of celebrities, but they don't give a shit about me, so I don't greet them.
"Thank God I smoked before we came here." I lean against an empty spot on the wall and fold my arms over my chest, my eyes scanning the room.
"I should've, too."
"Go get a drink, Jared." I tell him, smoothing out a wrinkle in his shirt. "I'll be right here."
"Alright," He gives me a small smile before walking off, quickly disappearing into the waves of people. I pull my phone out and stare down at it, not sure what app I should open to make myself look busy. To answer my thoughts, Sofia texts me.
Sofia: Is he there?????
Me: I haven't seen him yet, we just got here. I think I'll explode if I see them together.
