As Rain stormed away, Phayu followed, feeling the tension in the air. Rain's frustration was clear, and Phayu found himself caught in a whirlwind of emotions.
What the hell does he think of himself? He may be a mafia, but he's a mafia in his house. How can he treat me like that?" Rain mumbled as he walked away.
Feeling someone following him, Rain turned around and saw Phayu trailing him.
"Now what the hell he wants from me, who is following whom now" Rain thinks to himself. He turned around and questioned phayu;
"Why are you following me?" Rain asked angrily.
Caught between his usual stern demeanor and unexpected softness Phayu tried to explain, "I need to understand what's going on. It's not every day someone challenges me like this."
"So he comes here because he feels i challenged him" Rain thinks, annoyed by the situation.
Rain retorted, "Well, maybe you need to realize not everyone will bow down to you. First, you point a gun at me, and now you're bothering me in a mall washroom."
Pausing, Phayu absorbed Rain's words."wait!! How can he talk to me like that, but he is right" Phayu thinks.
The intensity in Rain's eyes left an impression. "I didn't mean to bother you. In my world, suspicion is a survival instinct."
Rain's gaze softened slightly, but he remained cautious. "Survival instinct or not, you can't treat people like this. And what's with the melodrama in your house? Spy children and security breaches? Is that normal?"
Phayu hesitated, his gaze shifting away momentarily, this is the first time someone questioned him like that and he is speechless. And even if someone tried to talk like that to him like this, before even completing the sentence phayu would shot him right away, but with rain it's different,he was listening like a child being scolded by a teacher.
He calmed himself down and answered back"In my world, trust is a luxury we can't always afford. Enemies could be anywhere."
Rain, looking unconvinced, replied, "Your world sounds messed up. But it doesn't justify pointing a gun at someone who got lost."
Tension hung in the air as both men stood at an impasse, trying to understand each other's reality. Phayu, despite his tough exterior, felt a nagging sense of guilt for the distress he caused.
Suddenly, Rain sighed. "I don't want trouble. I just want to go back to my friend and enjoy the day. Can we put this behind us?"
Phayu, a rare hint of regret flickering in his eyes, nodded. "Fine. Just go."
Rain left the place, leaving Phayu alone with his thoughts. The encounter had left an unexpected impact, and Phayu found himself fighting with emotions he hadn't anticipated.
What ever he was feeling is not good specically with rain, he is his brothers boyfriend atlast.
Back in the busy mall, Rain rejoined Sky, who had been waiting anxiously. Sky noticed Rain's disheveled appearance and questioned, "Everything alright, Rain?"
"Yeah, just a weird encounter," Rain replied, deciding not to delve into the details. As they continued their day, Rain couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched, attributing it to the tense encounter with Phayu.
