"Come on, rain, don't be like this. It's finally our semester break before entering the final year; you can't be like this," said Sig, his voice filled with eager anticipation, convincing rain to join them for a night of celebration at the club.
Rain, torn between the allure of a lively party and the comfort of home, hesitated. He had spent days immersed in intense exam preparation, craving a peaceful rest. Yet, Sig's infectious enthusiasm won him over.
"Ok... ok... but only if Sky comes with me," Rain agreed, a spark of mischief gleaming in his eyes.
Sky, the sensible friend aware of the potential chaos, raised an eyebrow. "I am not going anywhere, rain, and I can't handle you guys when you get out of hand," he said, a hint of a smile betraying his reluctance.
Determined, Rain pulled out his secret weapon – the infamous puppy face.
"Na...na..na... Sky, come with me, na," he pleaded, fully aware of its power to melt even the most steadfast resolve.
"Ok, ok... don't show me your puppy face," Sky chuckled, giving Rain a playful shoulder tap.
"Oww... why did you hit me?" Rain teased, adding a touch of drama to the moment.
"Ohh my little baby, come here," Sky enveloped Rain in a bear hug, indulging in the theatrics that defined their friendship.
No matter how much Sky pretended to resist, he couldn't deny the genuine affection he held for Rain.
"Ok, so will you pick me up? I'm not feeling like driving," Rain requested once more, casting a pleading glance with those irresistible puppy eyes.
"Don't be dramatic; I will pick you up," Sky conceded with a grin, knowing that Rain's flair for drama was an inseparable part of their adventures.
"Yahh... ok, so let's meet there," Rain said to Sig and Por, as the trio set the stage for a night to remember.
As the night unfolded, the trio found themselves in the pulsating heart of the club, surrounded by thumping beats and vibrant lights. Sig, Rain, and por navigated the dance floor, losing themselves in the rhythm of the music.
Rain, usually reserved, surprised everyone with his dance moves, breaking free from his studious demeanor. Sig cheered him on, reveling in the joy of their newfound freedom after a grueling semester. In the midst of their revelry, sky, who had been enjoying the music from afar, decided to surprise them with a round of their favorite drinks. The clinking glasses marked a toast to friendship, freedom, and the unforgettable moments that defined their night.
Rain was enjoying his drink when his eyes observed something he shouldn't: a man fighting with a waiter and putting something in a drink then giving him a lot of money. Rain watched the scene with focus, then he saw the waiter approaching a guy sitting alone, calmly scrolling his phone, looking different from everyone else.
God knows what came into Rain's mind; he stood up from his seat and made his way to the guy.
"Where are you going, Rain?" asked Sky.
"Ohhh nothing, just the restroom," Rain excused himself, knowing very well Sky would not let him go if he found out the real reason.
"Ok, come soon."
Rain saw the guy about to drink but tripped on him, acting as if someone bumped into him. He couldn't directly say something was suspicious as the man who did this was still watching them.
"I am so sorryy.....so sorryyy..." Rain immediately apologized, not wanting the guy to get angry.
"It's ok, just be careful," said the guy, smiling at Rain.
