Rain stormed into his room, feeling frustrated and upset. He paced back and forth, his frustration reaching a boiling point as he cursed under his breath, his words laced with venom aimed at Phayu and the girl who had caused him so much anguish. "Damn you, Phayu," he muttered, his voice filled with anger. "And you too, you witch," he spat out, his anger evident.
Each curse helped him let out the anger and frustration he'd been holding in, like opening a valve to release pressure. It felt good for a moment, but then he remembered how hurt and disappointed he was.
Jealousy was taking a toll on him, twisting his emotions into a tangled mess as he changed into fresh clothes, the fabric feeling heavy against his skin.
As he came out of his bathroom, still feeling upset, he heard a soft knock on the door. Annoyed but interested, he allowed the visitor in, thinking it might be a maid or someone else from the household. To his surprise, it was Saifah standing there, looking worried and caring.
"Rain, are you okay?" Saifah asked softly, his eyes searching Rain's face for any sign of distress.
Rain's frustration lessened a bit when he saw Saifah's caring attitude, and he let out a deep sigh, feeling overwhelmed by the day's challenges. "I'm okay, Saifah," he murmured, but his tone was telling something else.
Saifah moved closer and hugged Rain. "You don't look okay. Is there something on your mind? Anything happen in the college as you were saying to Phayu? Did he say something? Remember, you can always talk to me about anything."
Rain was now feeling a little better. "Everything is fine, Saifah, just a little tired," he replied.
"Okay, if you say so," Saifah said, breaking the hug and looking at Rain. Then they heard some commotion from outside.
"Not again," Saifah sighed when he heard the voice.
Rain noticed a flicker of irritation across Saifah's face. Concerned, Rain gently asked, "Who's causing all that racket, Saifah?"
Saifah's expression darkened slightly as he said, "It's Cherry again."
"Cherry?" Rain's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Who's Cherry?"
Saifah let out a frustrated sigh before explaining, "Cherry is... complicated. She's been infatuated with Phayu since our college days. She's the daughter of one of the influential mafia families. She has this habit of showing up unannounced, causing disruptions every time. Nobody really likes her; she always clings to Phayu, but... We have to tolerate her as she is not only the daughter of the mafia family, but her dad is also one of the important people in our business, and we can't really make enemies in this," Saifah said, his voice filled with annoyance and frustration evident in his tone.
"And what about Phayu? Does he like her?" Rain asked, hoping for a certain answer.
"No! Phayu always maintains his distance from her and has rejected her many times, but she says one day Phayu will fall in love with her," Saifah explained.
On one side, Rain was happy that Phayu did not like her, but on the other side, his heart sank thinking if Phayu really fell in love with her.
Saifah glanced at Rain with a resigned expression. "Well, let's go see what new drama she's creating this time," he said, his tone tinged with sarcasm.
As they stepped outside, they saw Cherry engaged in a heated argument with Dao. Cherry's face was flushed with anger, her bags clutched tightly in her hands. "I want to stay in this room that this guy is staying in," she demanded, looking at Rain with a disgusting look when she saw him coming out.
