RAIN'S POV :

Today was my day off from college, and I decided to talk to Phayu about why he's been avoiding me so much. Things were fine in the hospital, so why is he acting like this now? I knocked on Phayu's room door but got no answer. Noticing the room was slightly ajar, I cautiously stepped inside. The room was filled with his familiar scent, I took a deep breath, trying to hold onto that comforting feeling that always drives me crazy. But Phayu was nowhere to be found. I thought he might be in the bathroom, but there was no sound, just an unsettling silence.

Although I had been in his room many times before, I had never looked around carefully. His room is simple, yet it speaks volumes about his personality. While scanning the room, my eyes fell upon a black door tucked away in the corner. It was so discreetly designed that I had never noticed it before. Curiosity got the better of me, and I approached the mysterious door, wondering what could possibly be behind it.

As I tried to open the door, I heard a cold voice that sent a shiver down my spine. "Can't open the door? Should I help you?" It was Phayu's voice.

Startled, I turned around to find Phayu staring at me. His eyes held an unfamiliar look, reminiscent of the first time I had mistakenly visited his room, but this time, there was no gun pointed at me. My heart sank as I saw the way he was looking at me. I never wanted him to look at me in this manner; it seemed distant and unfamiliar.

Trying to sound calm and composed, I said, " No, no it's not what you are thinking, but why is this door hidden? What's behind it?"

Phayu, maintaining his cold demeanor, responded, "Some doors are better left closed. And this is my private space.Who allowed you to come into my room and look around like that?"

Stuttering, I replied, "I came here to talk to you."

But Phayu cut me off sharply, "I don't want to talk to you! That's why I am ignoring you, Can't you understand that? Who are you that I should talk to you? Do we have anything between us that I should talk to you? You are my brother's ex-boyfriend, not mine."

"What are you saying ? Why are you saying this? It's hurting me. You didn't behave like this when we were in the hospital. ?" Tears welled up in my eyes as I spoke.

Phayu's voice remained cold as he replied, "I didn't say anything in the hospital because I didn't want to cause more tension to my family. But that doesn't mean we are friends or something. Just because I talked with you a little and behaved nicely in the hospital doesn't mean you mean something to me."

"Don't say like that..." I somehow managed to say as I was feeling so devastated, each of his words was piercing through my heart and breaking it into more small pieces.

But Phayu cut me off again, "I don't know why you're here in this house. Don't you have any shame? Don't you think You should leave, especially now that you're no longer saifah's boyfriend."

Tears started to fall from my eyes. I never thought he would say something like that to me. Just as I was about to say something, I heard Saifah's voice and he came to my side, keeping his hand around my shaking shoulder.

"What the hell are you saying, Phayu? Do you have any idea what you're saying to Rain? You're hurting him. He's living in this house because I want him to. This house is as much mine as it is yours. Just because you've lost your memories doesn't give you the right to say such hurtful things to him. And he will stay here, let me see who sends him away," Saifah said angrily.

With that, Saifah grabbed my hand and led me out of the room, which by now was filled with my tears.
