"Not again. Why is it always me that people trip and spill their drinks on?" Saifah said, cleaning his clothes.

"Why did he do that?" Rain thought as he clearly saw Phayu intentionally push that guy, although Saifah was about to kiss him, and it would have been his first kiss, but his focus was on someone else.

Rain's POV:

"Are you fine? You're not hurt anywhere," I asked Saifah, concerned. I took some tissue and tried to clean it.

"Why don't you go and clean it in the washroom?" I heard Phayu's voice. I looked at him with stern eyes. First, he intentionally did that, and now he's all being nice—what a hypocrite.

"Come, I will come with you," I offered Saifah.

"No, no, you stay here. I'll be back in a minute," Saifah said, caressing my hair. I thought for a second and decided to stay back. "Umm, okay, but be fast."

Then Saifah went in the direction of the washroom. I turned to look at Phayu; he had a weird expression on his face, maybe guilt. He tried to talk to me, but I decided to ignore him and went back to where we were seated before. I could feel his eyes following me, then the girl again hovering all over him, being all touchy.

"He's no different from other guys. Instead of rejecting the girl, he's enjoying with her. Huh."

"But why the hell am I thinking about him? He can do whatever he wants."

I was enjoying myself when a guy tried to approach me.

"Hey, cutie, are you alone? Want my company?" he said in a very disgusting way.

"No thanks, I'm with someone," I replied bluntly, refusing his unwarranted advances.

"But I can't see. What about having some fun?" His voice disgusted me to the core. His audacity made him sit beside me and try to touch me.

I abruptly stood up and slapped him hard on his face.

"Don't you dare touch me," I said and started to walk away. But he held my hand and pulled me toward him. I lost my balance and fell into his lap.

"Oh, feisty little cat. I like it," he said, touching me disgustingly. He held my face and was about to kiss me when suddenly I saw someone punch him hard on his face.

"Phayu," I whispered tearfully. Phayu, pulling me towards him, his touch is a mixture of protection and remorse. He holds my waist, my body fully attached to his. Tears welled up as he held me close.

At that moment, I felt like my heart skipped a beat. I nodded a little, then he pulled me to his back and focused on the guy who was holding his face. He started to punch him without mercy.

Phayu's POV:

"What the hell have I done? How can I do this?"

I felt so guilty looking at Saifah; everything happened so fast, as if my body was not in my control. I saw him going to the washroom. Rain turned toward me and gave me a disgusted look—maybe. I tried to talk to him, but he went back to where we were seated before.

The girl again came all over me; I just wanted to push her away, but I tried not to. I was busy in my thoughts when I suddenly heard Rain's voice.

"He slapped someone."

Then what I saw boiled my blood; I felt like I should rip his hands apart from his body. I pushed the girl and started moving toward them; he was about to touch Rain's delicate face with his disgusting mouth when I punched him hard in his face.

I wanted to just shoot him on the spot, but I didn't want Rain to be afraid of me. I pulled Rain toward me, his body attached to mine. I held his face.

"Are you okay?" I asked, my hands tenderly cradling Rain's face, an apology hidden in my eyes. Tears glistened in his eyes, a reflection of the pain mirrored in my own heart.
