Sabrinas POV.

As I was cleaning the throw up off of my shoes I was starting to think that Chelsea was right I need a vacation The only thing is if I take a vacation I'm not going to get paid time off Apparently we don't do that here after that, Dr. confronted me and told me to stay in my lane and basically told me not to interrupt him when he's trying to talk to his patients or the patients family members. I've been staying to myself and doing my job it's still awkward between me and the doctor whenever he gives information to his patients or their family, he gives me side glances to see if I'm going to say anything. We had a 16 year old girl who complained about stomach pain. Apparently she's been throwing up every night.

Me not being lucky didn't get out of the way in time and she threw up all over my shoes. I was listening to the doctors conversation he was basically telling the mother that she could possibly be pregnant. He kept telling the mother that he seen cases of teenagers come in with a domino pain mostly females, and they are most likely pregnant. I can tell that the mother didn't believe the doctor I wanted to order an ultrasound, but the doctor said that it's just a waste of time so he had her take
Pee test to see if she's really pregnant after I got my shoes clean I went to go stand up, but I stopped when I saw something wiggling on the ground.

I didn't wanna pick it up with my bare hands so I took my pen and scooped it up, staring back at me was a white tapeworm. I've only seen tapeworms in dogs. I have never seen them in humans it look like a tapeworm, but it look too small to be one I walked out of the locker room and grabbed a small plastic container. I put the warm in there and closed it up. I went to the front desk and ask one of the nurses that weren't doing anything if they can see what kind of worm this is the nurse took it and said sure the doctor was in surgery so I decided to go do a little bit of digging. I walked into the room and ask the mother if I can speak to her privately.

Let me guess she's pregnant I knew I shouldn't have let her go on that trip! The mother said, rubbing her head .

No ma'am, I didn't get the pee test yet I just wanted to ask you where exactly did your daughter go for her spring break trip? I said looking at her.

It was a program that her school did basically a group of her and some other kids went to Mexico for spring break. If you didn't get the Pee test what is this about? she said confused.

I'm going to tell you something, but I don't want you to freak out when your daughter threw up on my shoes I went to go clean them. I found a worm right beside the rag that I used. I think your daughter ate something that had some sort of bacteria in it! I said looking at her daughter.

When I said that the mother was confused, she looked at me and said obviously this is some kind of joke. She said there's no way her daughter has worms and that she would know because if she threw up she would've seen them I looked at the mom and ask her if she seen her daughter throw up she said no that she hasn't seen it in person but she has been hearing her sometimes at night. I told her the only way we could tell if her daughter has worms or not is to get an ultrasound and ask her daughter some questions so I ordered an ultrasound and went into the room. I looked at the Girl and ask her how she's feeling. She said she is feeling worse. She said she has a sharp pain in her stomach that won't go away and she still feels like she's going to throw up.

Your mother said that you went to Mexico for your spring break trip did you eat anything new there? I said looking at her.

No, just some stuff that I usually eat beans rice, and some fresh fruit that people were selling! She said groaning in pain .

All right, I'm going to do an ultrasound on your stomach to see if I can see anything. All I need you to do is just stay still and try not to move! I said putting some jelly on her stomach.

I put the wand on her stomach and started moving around her right side looks clear and I didn't see anything when I went further down her mother asked me if I saw anything and I said no not yet. I was about to give up until I saw something lower in her stomach. I pressed on it and moved around and that's when I saw her what looks like a small hairball, but it was moving around. I looked at her mother to let her know that my suspicions were right her daughter does have worms The mother immediately went to go comfort her daughter. The daughter asked me what was going on. I told her not to freak out but the reason why she has pain in her stomach and she's been throwing up is because she has worms. I asked her if she threw up did she see anything she said yeah but she just thought it's because she was hallucinating because she was sick.

As they were talking, I went to the front desk and ask the nurse if she found out what kind of worm it is she said it's a tapeworm she said the reason why it's not big is because it is obviously a baby she said obviously whatever that girl ate, had feces all over it since she didn't have a lot of worms in her stomach. The only thing that I can tell the girl to do was take some laxatives so she can poop them out. The pill laxative usually takes about 30 minutes to kick in but if she drinks the liquid laxative we have she would be on the toilet in 10 minutes so I went to go get the liquid laxative. I already told the mother what I was going to do. She agreed with it? The daughter did too after I gave the girl the liquid laxative. I told her that if she starts to feel like she hast to use the bathroom, she needs to go. She said OK and I left to go do some paperwork after I do my paperwork I did the rest of my rounds .

An hour later, the woman and her 16-year-old daughter was being discharged. The girl got rid of all the worms by drinking the liquid laxative after I did all my rounds I asked her how did she feel when I went to go check on her she said she felt better I didn't ultrasound and saw that her stomach was empty, I told her that any fruit or vegetables that she gets from anybody she needs to wash off her mother said that she will make sure of it and I said goodbye as they walked away I only had two hours left at work, and then I am off as I was taking a break since we were so slow I opened up my salad. I was fixing to take a bite with my phone went off. I looked and saw that it was Molly.
