"I know who he's working for."

"What?" I asked Taehyung not understanding what he was talking about.

I was putting textbooks into my locker and I'd just finished a test in my previous lesson so my mind was a little tired when Taehyung approached me.

"Hyunjoo, I know who he's working for and you're never going to believe it."

"Try me," I yawned. I really needed to start studying in advance. Staying awake the entire before a test is exhausting.

Who am I kidding, I'm always going to procrastinate until the night before.

"Mr Jeon."

"The Economics Teacher?" I frowned.

"Not Mr Jung. Mr. Jeon. As in Jungkook's dad."

That woke me up.

"You're right, I don't believe it."

"If you knew him better you would."

"Are you sure? It's a big accusation. Like, I know the man is the devil's incarnate but what does he gain from this? How did you find out anyway?"

"What he gains beside torturing Jungkook, I'm still trying to figure out. Maybe it's a warped spying method, I don't know. We're probably never going to understand something that goes on in that man's mind and honestly I prefer it that way," he answered and I understood his point and agreed with it too. "How I found out is my cousin got hold of phone records. He traced the phone and linked it to a burner phone which seems like a dead end. Until you trace the location of the phone during a call. And the first time it was in Mr Jeon's office building. Which just seems like a suspicious coincidence. But the second time it was at Jungkook's home during the school day. So it can only be one person. "

"It's great that we know but what are we going to do? We don't know why it's happening. We don't know how to stop it. We can't tell Jungkook because he's finally making headway in the right direction and past all of this. He's truly making such big strides in the right direction. Finding out will make him confront his father...God knows what that man will do," I placed a hand to my forehead. "I'm already stressed out about the end of the school year when we're on vacation. That's only a month away. "

"I'm not sure yet. And don't worry about vacation time. I'm not going anywhere with my family so he can stay with me. If he agrees."

"If his father didn't have so many contacts he would be locked away by now. He doesn't deserve to be a father."

"He doesn't...maybe we can speak to Hyunjoo?"

"I'd rather not. The last time he spoke to me he made a suggestive comment and I nearly threw up. So now every time he looks at me I get creeped out. Also what would he tell you? He's not even gaining anything out of this except for probably money. Which doesn't make sense in the first place because his family is rich. So either he wants the money or needs it. And in both scenarios he's not going to stop. All of this seems so fruitless now." I sighed.

"Maybe I can speak to Namjoon? He usually knows what to do?"

"Yeah okay."

"See you at lunch. "

"See you."

My phone rang suddenly, a number I didn't recognise flashing across my screen.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey, Sen. It's Mark. My dad gave me your number, he said that you told him I could talk to you if I moved to Byul Academy."

"Oh. Hi Mark...yeah I did say that. Shouldn't you be in class right now?"
