Jungkook was standing against the wall outside Mrs Kang's classroom. He was using his headphones and his eyes were closed as he listened to music. Thankfully he was listening to music because if he heard my talk with Mrs Kang it would've been awfully awkward.

He didn't notice my presence and I took that as my opportunity to really look at him. Generally I would avoid any possible interaction with the boy but seeing as I was now going to interact with him often I didn't see any point in evading him.

Jungkook was a very handsome boy. His brown hair was slightly parted on his forehead. His uniform sat neatly on him and looked like it was tailored specifically for him. I didn't know something like a uniform could look so flattering on a person. There was a small scar on the side of his face that could only be noticed up close and I wondered what the story behind it was. His lower lip was bigger in comparison to his upper one but they looked nice. They were pink and looked soft. I felt myself blush from staring there for too long.

Somehow even his imperfections complimented him and enhanced his appearance. I didn't know how long I stared at him for, I was just grateful he didn't notice me yet.

"Are you done staring?" He asked suddenly snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Huh?" I said dumbfounded.

He knew I was staring at him all along. Embarrassed was too light a word to use to express how I felt at that moment.

"N-no, of course not. Why would I stare? I would never stare. What would I get from staring. I don't know what you're -"

"Nerd."

"Mhm"

"You're babbling. Which probably means you're nervous. Do I make you nervous?"

"Yes." Jungkook was surprised at my answer.
"Of course you make me nervous. Everytime we interact either I or my feelings get injured."

He rolled his eyes at me.

Yeah, maybe if he rolled it far enough he'd notice he didn't have a brain.

An awkward silence followed and I waited for him to break it because I was making no attempt at breaking it.

"We can meet on Mondays and Wednesdays. I'm busy with practice on Fridays." He instructed.

"I didn't know you played any sport." I dumbly said.

"I don't."

"But you said you had practice?" I continued making conversation eventhough my mind kept telling me to shut up.

Mrs Kang did say I should be positive so I figured I'd try optimism for once.

"Band practice."

"Wow, you're in a band."

"You didn't know? What did you think the boys and I were popular for?" He replied slightly offended and shocked.

"I don't know. Good looks. Money. Terror." I shrugged.
" So what instrument do you play?"

Shut up Senthu.

"We don't play instruments."

"Then you're not in a band. You're in a group, silly."

"Call it whatever you want, Nerd." He said exasperatedly.
"Look you need to stop speaking to me like we're friends. Because we're not. I only agreed to getting a tutor because Mrs Kang threatened me with calling my parents. But if I knew you were going to be the tutor then I would've taken the punishment," he snapped.

I tried to have a positive attitude but this boy ruined it completely. It wasn't like I agreed to the deal either.

"So-sorry." My confidence from earlier slowly diminished.
