"It's too early for Math," Jungkook groaned as we walked to class.
"I'll agree with you just this once because it's Monday."
"Why only once?"
"Because regardless of the time, you never want to go to Math."
"Touché."
He stretched his arms and then secured one around my shoulders.
"Why do you never sit with me," he asked referring to our seating arrangement in his least favourite subject.
"Need I remind you that when we chose our seats, I deeply disliked you. So why would I have sat with you?"
"So you like me now?"
I scoffed at what he got out of my words.
"No. Now I just mildly dislike you," I said sweetly.
"Ouch. Hurtful," he feigned pain.
"Mission accomplished," I replied.
"You can still sit next to me, I'll just get Hyunjoo to move."
"I don't want to sit next to you. People will start making up strange stories about us."
"Like they're not doing that already."
He was right. There were stories - some absolutely absurd - that were circulating about us. It was easy to ignore since they were mostly ridiculous.
"I'm good. I like focussing in class."
"So what you're saying is that I'm a distraction to you," he teased wiggling his eyebrows.
"My good looks too much for you to handle?""Pfft, no. More like your annoying voice and unnecessary side comments are distracting."
"My side comments are unnecessary?" He replied shocked. He removed his arm from my shoulders and stared at me in disbelief.
"Yes."
This time he scoffed.
"What about you, huh? You play part time film commentator everytime we watch a movie.""That's different. My comments are funny."
"To you, maybe," he muttered.
"Are you saying I'm not funny," I replied, offended.
"Of course not. You're hilarious," he said sarcastically.
"You're just jealous that I'm funnier than you."
"No you're not. I'm the king of jokes," he boasted.
"Please, Jin's jokes are better than yours will ever be."
His mouth formed an o-shape.
"Take that back."
"Nope," I said walking into Math, ignoring him.
*************Jungkook and I didn't have any shared lessons after Math. We usually met at the library during lunchtime so that we could walk to our spot together.
I waited for ten minutes but he didn't arrive yet. Even if we fought he would always come; he'd just ignore me until I made him smile about something.
What a child.
But the fact that he didn't come at all worried me. It wasn't a big argument so he really should've come.
With the time left of lunch I decided to check in the cafeteria.
Maybe he's with Bangtan.
