"Six weeks! Senthu, you should go to the doctor for this. It's not normal," Hae soo stated.
"It's no big deal. It's happened before. Plus some months I don't get it so this is basically making up for it."
"But I really think you should check it up. You shouldn't have your period for so long."
"I'll be fine. I've been to the Doctor he suggested I go on the pill to regulate it. But I'm not going to a Gynaecologist."
"Why?"
"I don't want someone to be up close and personal with my no no box."
Hae Soo laughed.
"I'm being serious Hae Soo. Anywho, do you have any fortune cookies?"
"When don't I?" She smiled pulling two fortune cookies out her bag.
It was a strange habit of hers; to always carry around fortune cookies. They weren't even her favourite snack.
One day I had questioned her about the matter and her answer or rather her reason I found adorable.
She would take out a cookie whenever she was upset and the odd fortunes would brighten her mood.
"Pigs can't fly. Neither can you. But the dreams you let soar will be fruitful," she read with her mouth full.
"What does yours say?"
"The love of your life is just a phone call away," I read the fortune and then scoffed at it's next level ridiculousness.
We laughed at our weird fortunes when my phone rang. I answered the call without checking.
"Hello?"
"Hey Sen."
"Jungkook?"
"Are you free later?"
"No I'm expensive."
"Ha ha very funny."
"I thought so too," I replied smiling.
"I'm being serious. Are you busy later?"
"No why?"
"Great. Let's go to the cinema. There's a new movie out that I want to watch."
"As long as it's not horror then okay."
"It's not. I'll pick you up at 6. Bye." He cut the call.
"Jungkook, huh..." Hae Soo said wiggling her eyebrows.
"What?"
"Nothing... I guess love really was just a phone call away." She smirked.
I slapped her arm lightly.
"Shut up," I said starting to blush.
"He's just my friend."
"Mhm," she smiled like she knew something I didn't.
I rolled my eyes at her.
********
"You wanted to watch an animation?"
"Yes. Do you have a problem with that?" He folded his arms and huffed like a child.
"No no. I'm happy actually."
We waited in line to buy tickets and we spoke about random topics but my focus kept going astray. Instead of listening to Jungkook, I stared at him. In a completely non creepy way...
He was undoubtedly handsome even in casual wear he looked great. His navy blue sweater fitted him perfectly just like his black ripped jeans.
Don't look at your friend's butt.
Don't look at your friend's butt.
Don't look at yo- dammit I looked at the butt.
