Barkus plains, 70 miles east of deabis

British and saderan ranks rolled across the fields of the Barkus plains, gunning down imperialist forces in their masses. The Eastern offensive had begun, and the imperial loyalists were caught completely unprepared.

As tanks rolled across the fields, saderan soldiers hid in large holes dug into the grounds. From their they pelted at the British and Republican forces with useless arrows, or hid until the tanks were right above them and climb underneath them before trying to pry them open. However, this was going nowhere: the steel armor was too thick for any blade to pierce. All the whole, minotaur-class combat bots moved up alongside them, mowing down any soldiers who didn't surrender with their high power machine guns.

The oprichnina commander in charge of this imperial garrison was failing miserably to motivate his troops. He constantly yelled at them to "hold the line!" and "fight like true warriors!". However, this went nowhere. Many of the soldiers were conscripts who had never seen the front lines, and fled upon the sight of the iron elaphants.

Eventually, a group of veteran soldiers were able to group together and form a phalanx farmation, and began marching towards the British forces, whole a couple of other soldiers aimed a pair of ballista towards the iron elaphants.

However, the hopes of these soldiers were dashed when an F-85B soared overhead
