A fleet of three imperial warships sails through the fog of the southern sea. On the ships themselves are around twenty to thirty soldiers each, with around half being from the grim rifle brigades. Alongside them were soldiers of the kingdom of venetia, their light blue uniforms covered by steel armor

Their destination was the coast of the kingdom of elbe, specifically, the coastal town of mesagia, in an attempt to disrupt British supply ships in the southern oceans

However, elbe was now a far stronger force than they remembered. You see, after the battle of alnus hill, elbe's neighbours (the kingdom's of alguna, mudwan and the league principality) struggled to maintain their stability, due to the battle not only destroying most of their military, but killing their rulers as well. In an attempt to prevent their kingdom's from falling into complete anarchy, the three kingdom's decided on a ludicrously risky descicion: they asked the king of elbe to annex their territories.

Despite much opposition to the decision, a compromise was eventually made: while elbe would annex the three kingdom's, they would maintain a degree of autonomy. With the agreement set in stone, the United principalities of elbe, often still called the kingdom of elbe, was born
