A young saderan soldier stands within the docking bay of the HMS seadragon. He was part of the saderan marine corp: the offensive arm of the soon to be created saderan navy, currently under British command.

The island was supposedly split between two region: the eastern region, known as Vale, was home to some of the empires aristocratic elite, and was a wealthy region of architecture and art. The western half, known as vacuo, was the exact opposite. It was a desert-like region where slaves were worked to death to mine resources for the empire, be it gold or iron.

The sarkany's family had even been able to create their own private army. Known simply as the huntsmen, they were supposedly made to defend the Vale region in case of attack. In reality, they were simply an army loyal to the sarkanys, following their orders to the letter.

The young marine noticed as a collection of royal marines in their advanced exo-suits began stepping onto a boat. This was a clear sign to him: the operation was about to begin
