Over the last few weeks, the push into saunus had been a major success. Tank units pushed through the weak defensive lines of both imperial army troops and the sakranys personal huntsman army, the latter of whom seemed to gravely underestimated them, likely due to never actually facing them.
Alongside this, the saunus liberation army, also called the sweeny, had done excellent work behind enemy lines, sabotaging supply lines and ambushing regiments deploying to the front. They had even started wearing their own unique uniform

The solarian forces that were intended for the island were instead redirected to the mainland to make up for losses there. In their place, zorzal had deployed three grim rifle brigades. Currently, the British and Republican forces were executing one final offensive to take the islands capital so they can relocate forces to the mainland. The plan was to drive five tank columns, two British and three saderan, deep into imperial territory: two would take the fortress city of Glenn before taking the southeastern forts, while the other three would steamroll their way to the capital at Vale. Meanwhile, the saderan Republic navy and British royal navy would blockade Vale so that nobody could flee via The ocean, and the R.A.F and S.F.C would perform air raids on the city.
