By the time the 1st S.R.R.T arrived back at the base, it looked far different than when they left it, and they soon realised much had changed.

The barbed wire and trench systems were largely gone, replaced with large concrete walls manned by mk.2 aegis turrets wielding mk.31 hmg's, through they could still be found on the exterior of the base.
